LC&QS Clear Tarps Heavy Duty Waterproof Clear PVC Tarp, 14 Mil, 12' x 20
Product description
Cover a greenhouse side, patio furniture, or a chicken coop with a clear tarp that helps block rain and wind while allowing light through. The 12' x 20' format provides a broad cover for outdoor spaces and equipment.
Its 14 Mil vinyl construction is reinforced for tear resistance, with hot-melt edging and reinforced corners to support secure fastening along the perimeter.
Use the grommets and supplied rope to attach the tarp around a garden, porch, or pavilion. The smooth surface can be cleaned with water and a cloth, and the tarp folds for storage between uses.
Fit and sizing
At 12' x 20', this tarp suits larger coverage tasks, such as sheltering a greenhouse area or creating a clear windbreak along a patio. Grommets run along the edges at approximately 20-inch intervals, with additional grommets at the corners. This gives you multiple points for tying it down and helps distribute the fastening across the tarp rather than relying on just a few points.
Plan where the edges will attach before setting it in place, then use the grommets and rope to secure the sides. Buyers have praised the tarp’s clear, thick construction, while feedback on size is mixed, consider how the 12' x 20' dimensions fit the area you want to cover.
What you’ll notice day to day
The transparent PVC lets light pass through, making this a practical alternative to an opaque cover when you want protection without completely blocking the view or daylight. Use it as a cover for garden plants, patio furniture, or outdoor equipment, or as a wind-blocking panel for a porch or balcony. Its clear format also works for a greenhouse setup where visibility and light transmission are useful.
The 14 Mil material is described as tear-resistant, waterproof, and wind-resistant. Reinforced hot-melt edging and plastic corner reinforcements add strength where the tarp is fastened. Buyers often highlight its thickness, clarity, and durability, and some mention using it for protection from winter weather. These are customer impressions rather than a promise of performance in every condition.
When it is time to clean the surface, wipe it with water and a cloth. The tarp can be folded for storage, so it can be moved between outdoor tasks as needed. Compared with an opaque tarp, this clear cover is the better fit when maintaining light and visibility is part of the job.
