Womier Q61 V2-Topographic 60% Wireless Mechanical Keyboard with QMK/VIA and RGB

Some keyboard buyers want a compact layout that leaves more room on the desk, others prioritize remapping options and flexible connections. The Womier Q61 V2-Topographic brings those needs together in a 60% mechanical keyboard with a black-and-white topographic design, RGB lighting, and three connection modes.

Its compact layout includes arrow keys and basic function keys, while QMK/VIA lets you customize key functions and shortcuts. Use it for gaming, everyday typing, or a workspace where programmable controls are useful.

Usage tips

Connect by USB-C, Bluetooth, or 2.4 GHz wireless, then switch between up to three connected devices for a setup that spans more than one computer. For key remapping, use the wired connection to configure the layout in QMK/VIA, once saved, the keymap works in both wired and wireless modes. This makes it possible to set up shortcuts around your preferred workflow without giving up wireless use afterward.

The 60% format keeps the keyboard’s footprint compact while retaining arrow keys and basic function controls. It can suit a crowded gaming desk or a shared workspace where keeping more surface available matters. If you are choosing between a compact board and a full-size layout, the practical distinction is how much desk space you want the keyboard to occupy and which keys you use regularly.

Strengths

The preinstalled full POM linear switches have a 55 gf actuation force, 2.0 mm pre-travel, and 3.8 mm total travel. A gasket-mounted structure is designed to damp vibration and reduce typing sound, while hot-swap support lets you remove and replace compatible 3-pin or 5-pin switches without soldering. That gives enthusiasts a way to personalize the feel of the board over time.

South-facing RGB lighting, cherry-profile dye-sublimated PBT keycaps, and the topographic pattern carry the design across the keyboard. Customize the lighting effects to suit a gaming setup or keep the black-and-white look as the visual focus. The dedicated knob adds a separate control to the compact design.

Worth noting

QMK/VIA supports key remapping and macro setup across Windows, macOS, and Linux. The keyboard is also listed for Windows and Mac use, and its three-mode connectivity supports wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4 GHz setups. These options make it easier to choose a connection based on whether you are working at a desk or switching among paired devices.

Buyer feedback often highlights the appearance and perceived value. Comments about functionality are mixed, including reports of problems with specific keys, so those impressions are best treated as individual experiences rather than a guarantee of how every unit will perform. What stands out in the product itself is the combination of switch customization, programmable controls, and a distinct topographic finish in a compact format.

Should you buy it?

Choose the Q61 V2-Topographic if you want a space-conscious mechanical keyboard that can move between wired and wireless use, with programmable keys and hot-swappable switches. Its POM linear switches, gasket construction, RGB lighting, and coordinated keycap design make it especially suited to gaming and typing setups where both customization and desk space matter.
