WADILE Peel-and-Stick Wallpaper, 15.7 x 78.7 in

For renters and DIY decorators looking to refresh a cabinet, bookcase, or other smooth surface, this dark gray peel-and-stick wallpaper offers a fabric-inspired look without separate adhesive.

Its faux grasscloth texture brings more visual detail than plain contact paper, while the self-adhesive backing is designed to make application straightforward.

The roll measures 15.7 x 78.7 inches and covers 8.61 square feet. That makes it better suited to a focused update than a large room makeover.

Key specifications

The wallpaper is made of vinyl and has a textured, linen-inspired surface in dark gray. The listed thickness is 0.24 mm. Its backing has a grid to help with measuring and cutting, and no additional glue is needed. The product is described as waterproof and oil resistant, with a surface that can be wiped with a wet cloth.

Keep the coverage in mind before starting: a single roll is intended for a limited area, so a cabinet front or a small section of wall is a more realistic project than covering a whole room. The listing also notes that colors may look slightly different under different lighting or on different screens. Rolls from separate batches may not match exactly, so planning the amount together matters if the project needs more than one.

Who it’s for

This is a practical fit for someone who wants a textured accent without committing to traditional wallpaper installation. It can be used on smooth walls, furniture, tables, doors, bookcases, kitchen counters, backsplashes, or bathroom surfaces. It makes sense if you’re updating a small, clean, even surface and want a wipeable finish that can be cut to fit.

It’s less suited to rough or uneven areas, since the product is specified for smooth surfaces. If you’re choosing between a decorative adhesive covering and a more substantial renovation, this is the lighter-touch route, it changes the look of a surface, not the surface itself. Not the best choice if you need a finish that matches precisely across separate rolls or want to cover a large area with one roll.

Everyday use

A small furniture refresh is an easy example: measure a bookcase panel, use the backing grid to mark a piece, cut it, then peel and smooth it onto the surface. The self-adhesive format avoids mixing or applying separate glue, and the wipe-clean claim may be useful on surfaces that see everyday splashes or fingerprints. Work on a smooth area and cut carefully, the roll’s stated coverage leaves limited room for repeated mistakes on a bigger project.

The adhesive may stiffen in extreme weather, according to the product details, but is said to regain tack when warmed with a hair dryer. That is a useful handling note, not a reason to assume performance in every temperature or surface condition.

Practical doubts

Does it need separate wallpaper glue? No. The backing is self-adhesive, and the instructions describe cutting along its grid, peeling it, and sticking it in place.

Can it go on a textured wall? The listed applications are smooth surfaces. Uneven or rough areas aren’t a good match for the stated use.

How do you clean it? The product is described as waterproof and oil resistant, and the listing says it can be cleaned with a wet cloth. It doesn’t provide further care instructions.

Should you buy it?

Choose this WADILE wallpaper for a small, smooth-surface refresh where a dark gray faux-linen texture and adhesive installation are the main draws. The measured roll size and stated coverage make it easier to plan a single accent or furniture project than a broad renovation. Skip it for uneven surfaces, exact color matching across batches, or a job that needs more coverage than the roll provides.
