XUANINY XY-N75150 Peel-and-Stick Backsplash Tiles, 88-Piece 3 x 6-Inch Set

A fast decorative update and a long-term tiled installation call for different levels of commitment. The XUANINY XY-N75150 is an 88-piece, self-adhesive set intended for indoor wall decoration, including kitchen backsplashes and accent walls. Its rectangular 3 x 6-inch sheets are designed to stick directly to a clean, flat surface without grout or separate glue.

The main buying question is what the tiles are actually made of: the product title and description refer to metal or aluminum, while the specification table lists plastic. The color information also differs, with “Wooden Light Grey” in the product name and “Green” elsewhere. Those inconsistencies matter if you are matching an existing finish or choosing based on durability.

Strengths

The peel-and-stick format suits a small DIY refresh where avoiding grout and extra adhesive is useful. The listed sheet dimensions and rectangular shape make it easier to plan a backsplash or decorative wall area than with loose mosaic pieces. Suggested uses include kitchen and bathroom walls, laundry areas, RV interiors, and other indoor accent surfaces. The product is described as moisture-resistant and coated, but its instructions also say not to submerge it or expose it directly to flame.

Buyer feedback is divided. Some customers say the sheets are easy to cut and install, while others report that the adhesive does not hold well and that the tiles can dent or peel when wet. That makes the surface preparation and the material discrepancy worth taking seriously, rather than assuming the self-adhesive backing will suit every wall or use.

Key points

This set is intended for smooth, flat, clean surfaces free of dust and oil. Uneven or rough walls are not recommended, so it is a better fit for a prepared wall than for covering damaged or textured surfaces. The provided details list a thickness of 0.15 inches and an 88-piece quantity, but do not establish how much wall area the set will cover, plan the layout against the actual area before starting.

Compared with a more basic decorative covering, these tiles offer a raised mosaic-style look and individual rectangular pieces. Compared with a traditional grouted tile installation, the adhesive format avoids grout and separate glue, but the supplied information does not establish the same permanence or impact resistance. Worth considering if you want a no-grout indoor accent and your wall is already smooth and clean. You may want to skip it if you need confirmed metal construction, a precisely matched color, or a surface intended for direct flame or immersion.

Care & maintenance

Allow a newly painted wall to dry for two to three weeks or longer before installation, as directed in the product information. Once installed, the stated cleaning guidance is to use a wet cloth and avoid strong acids and strong alkalis. Keep the tiles away from direct flame and do not submerge them. Although moisture resistance is listed, some buyers report peeling when the tiles get wet, so this feedback is relevant for areas with regular water exposure.

Buying verdict

The XY-N75150 may suit a contained indoor backsplash or accent-wall project when the wall is flat and the convenience of peel-and-stick installation matters more than a conventional grouted finish. Before choosing it, resolve the conflicting material and color details against the appearance you need. If the project depends on dependable adhesion in a wet area or on a specific metal finish, the mixed construction information and reports of peeling make a clearly specified alternative easier to assess.
