Ekkogo 12-Pack Acoustic Wall Panels, 12 x 12 x 0.4 Inches, Deep Black
Product description
A room with noticeable echo calls for a different kind of wall treatment than a room where the priority is blocking sound from traveling between spaces. These Ekkogo panels are described for absorbing sound and reducing echo and reverb in settings such as a home office, bedroom, or recording space.
Each square panel measures 12 x 12 inches and is 0.4 inches thick. The pack contains 12 panels in a deep black finish, so their size and color can help you plan a simple layout or a more decorative arrangement.
One practical detail to account for before installation: adhesive is not included. The manufacturer recommends construction adhesive or strong double-sided tape.
Quick sizing guide
The panels are square, with each measuring 12 x 12 inches. Their 0.4-inch thickness is another useful planning detail if you are arranging them around furniture, equipment, or other wall features. The pack includes 12 panels, the listing does not clearly state the total wall area covered by the pack, so measure the intended layout rather than assuming a coverage figure.
For a podcast corner or home office, you could place panels on the wall behind or near the listening position to help address reflected sound. They are also described for bedrooms, conference rooms, and recording studios. The product information focuses on sound absorption and reducing echo and reverb, so consider whether room acoustics—or isolation from sound passing through walls—is your main concern.
Why it makes sense
The deep black square design gives these panels a defined look as well as an acoustic-treatment purpose. The manufacturer describes beveled edges and says the panels can be cut and arranged in custom patterns. They are made from poly-fiber and are described as using recycled plastic. Those details may matter if you want wall treatment that looks more intentional than plain foam, while still being able to adapt the layout to your space.
Buyer feedback is positive about the panels’ appearance and color, and some people say installation is straightforward. Views on sound reduction are mixed: some buyers report a noticeable benefit, while others say the panels did little for them. Reports about adhesion are mixed as well, which makes the missing adhesive worth factoring into your installation plan. Worth considering if you want square panels for a small acoustic-treatment project and are comfortable choosing your own mounting method. It might not be a great match if you need adhesive included or expect the panels to solve a sound-isolation problem.

Buying verdict
These Ekkogo panels make the most sense when you want to treat reflections in a room and prefer a square, deep black finish that can be arranged as part of the decor. They offer specific dimensions and a 12-panel pack, but installation requires a separate adhesive, and buyer experiences with both adhesion and sound reduction vary. Choose them for a measured, focused treatment area rather than assuming they will provide soundproofing throughout a room.
