VICLLAX SRMOB Outdoor Roller Shade, 8' x 8', Cordless Crank, Mocha
Product description
For patios, porches, and gazebos that need adjustable shade, the VICLLAX outdoor roller shade provides a practical way to filter sunlight. Its 8' x 8' size covers a broad outdoor area. A manual crank raises and lowers the cordless shade, so you can adjust coverage as the sun shifts. The mocha HDPE fabric filters light while allowing airflow.
Key features
The knitted HDPE fabric provides light filtering and up to 90% UV blocking, helping create a more shaded, comfortable area without turning the space into a blackout enclosure. It also adds privacy while preserving airflow. Weather-resistant fabric and components are designed to resist fading, making the shade suited to outdoor settings such as patios, balconies, decks, porches, pergolas, and gazebos.
A crank-operated roller makes it easy to change the amount of coverage throughout the day. Unlike a fixed shade panel, this design can be raised when you want more open sky and lowered when you want more protection from direct sun. The shade is cordless, and its bottom rings let you secure it to reduce flapping. For strong winds, retract it when it is not in use. It is designed for shade, not as a water-resistant cover.
The spliced tube is assembled from sections with the included connectors, creating the roller structure while keeping the package compact for transport. The fabric fits into a groove in the tube. Brackets are included for wall or ceiling mounting, and installation requires securing them with screws.
Maintenance
Spot-clean the fabric as needed. For day-to-day care, keep the shade rolled up when it is not needed, especially during strong winds. This helps limit movement and keeps the fabric tucked away between uses. When installing, choose a suitable wall or ceiling location and secure the brackets with screws before operating the crank.
Everyday use
On a sunny afternoon, lower the shade over a patio seating area to filter direct sunlight while retaining airflow and some natural light. Raise it again when you want a more open view. The manual crank gives you direct control over the shade’s position, while the bottom rings provide a way to secure it in place. Its 8' x 8' dimensions make it a useful option for covering a defined outdoor area, including a porch or gazebo.
Buyers commonly praise the shade’s sun coverage, appearance, installation, and winding mechanism. These impressions align with its adjustable roller design: it can provide filtered shade when lowered and open the space when raised.
Final verdict
Choose the VICLLAX SRMOB when you want adjustable outdoor sun screening in a mocha finish, rather than a fixed panel that stays in place. Its 8' x 8' coverage, crank operation, light-filtering HDPE fabric, and mounting brackets make it suited to patios, porches, and gazebos where you want control over shade throughout the day.
