SUNNY GUARD SGSS2C0T004-001 Triangle Shade Sail, Sand HDPE, 95% UV Block

Add shade to a patio, deck, or pergola with the SUNNY GUARD triangle shade sail. Its sand-colored HDPE fabric blocks up to 95% of harmful UV rays, while the breathable weave lets air pass through—useful for creating a more comfortable shaded area without turning it into a solid cover.

The 10' x 10' x 10' triangle shape suits outdoor spaces where you want overhead sun protection and an open, airy feel. It can be tied to suitable fixing points, and the included thickened ropes help with setup.

Practical tips

Before installation, measure the area and plan for the fixing points as well as the sail itself. Leave a 0.5–1 foot margin between each fixing point and the shade sail for hooks or ropes. The finished dimensions may vary by ±4 inches, so allow for that when planning the layout.

For a backyard seating area, for example, the sail can be positioned over a patio or deck to reduce direct sun exposure while allowing air to move through the fabric. It is designed for shade rather than rain cover: the material is breathable and is not water resistant. Compared with a solid, waterproof canopy, this sail prioritizes UV protection and airflow.

Strengths

The main benefit is a combination of UV coverage and ventilation. The fabric blocks up to 95% of harmful UV rays, and its breathable construction allows air to pass through. That makes it a practical choice for a pergola, garden, or outdoor seating space where you want shade without enclosing the area. Need shade that still allows air to circulate? This open-weave design is made for that purpose.

The triangle format also gives you flexibility when arranging shade across an outdoor area. Use it over a patio, deck, or backyard spot, and position the tie points to suit the space. The sail is customizable in size, giving you another way to plan for a specific outdoor layout. Customer feedback commonly highlights sun coverage and straightforward installation, including setups on pergolas.
