Kitinjoy YSMD003 Indoor-Outdoor Door Mat, 59 x 36, Gray, Low-Profile

An entry mat can prioritize a low profile for door clearance or a softer, thicker feel underfoot. The Kitinjoy YSMD003 focuses on catching tracked-in dirt and moisture while staying 0.4 inches thick. Its gray striped design is made for indoor or outdoor use. The 59 x 36-inch size gives it a broad footprint at an entry, kitchen, or other high-traffic threshold.

Strengths

The tufted polyester surface is described as absorbent and designed to trap dirt, water, and mud before they spread farther inside. That makes it a practical layer by a front door on rainy days or near an entry used by people coming in from a patio. Its rubber backing is intended to help keep the mat in place, the floor should be clean and dry before placement.

The low-pile construction and 0.4-inch thickness suit doorways where a thicker mat could interfere with opening and closing. It is also listed as water resistant, with a moisture barrier, and intended for both indoor and outdoor settings. Those details make it more focused on managing everyday entryway mess than on providing a plush landing surface.

Highlights

The mat combines a gray striped pattern with a rectangular shape, so it can work in an entryway without making the floor covering the main visual feature. The listed dimensions are 59 inches long by 36 inches wide. Buyers have mixed impressions of sizing: some say it fits their entryway well, while others report that the mat came up short of the stated length and width. If the fit needs to be exact, leave room for that uncertainty when choosing a spot.

Customer feedback also points to dirt and water trapping, easy washing, and quick drying as useful features. Reports on durability are less consistent: some buyers say the mat holds up, while others mention fraying or parts coming apart after washing. Thickness reviews vary too. Its documented low profile may work well for clearance, but it is not the same approach as choosing a thicker, more cushioned rug. You’ll appreciate it if an easy-to-clean, low-profile mat is the priority, Better avoided if you specifically want a plush surface underfoot.

Care & maintenance

The mat is listed as machine washable. The care directions specify washing it separately in cold water with mild detergent, then drying it or using a low-temperature setting. Avoid bleach and fabric softener. A broom or vacuum can handle routine surface dirt between washes.

It may arrive folded, so creases are possible. The product instructions suggest allowing time for wrinkles to recover, or using a hot iron over a wet towel. Keep the floor clean and dry before setting the mat down to support the rubber backing’s grip.

Buying verdict

The Kitinjoy YSMD003 makes sense for an entrance where capturing moisture and dirt, washability, and door clearance matter more than a thick, cushioned feel. Its size and low profile are clearly stated, and the materials and care instructions help set expectations for regular use. Buyer feedback is positive about cleaning and dirt trapping, but mixed on exact fit and long-term durability, so those points deserve consideration if the mat will see heavy traffic or needs to cover a precisely measured area.
