GPC Image Compatible Ink Cartridges 1200XL

If you need to replace several colors at once, this 1200XL-compatible set offers a different approach from buying a single cartridge as it runs out. It includes nine cartridges in a mix of black and color, with compatibility listed for select MAXIFY printers. The main buying checks are whether your exact printer appears in the compatibility information and how much weight to give the listed page-yield figures, especially for color.

Key specifications

This is a compatible replacement set for 1200XL ink cartridges, not a printer. The package contains black, cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges. GPC Image lists a yield of 1,200 pages for each black cartridge and gives the color yield as “9,00 pages” per cartridge at 5% coverage on letter-size paper. That color figure is unclear as written, so it does not provide a dependable basis for estimating how long the cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges will last.

The product information names MAXIFY MB2720, MB2320, MB2700, MB2120, MB2020, and MB2350 printers. The description also names MB2050 and MB2030, while its model wording is not entirely consistent. Match the model number on your printer to the listing before ordering rather than relying on the MAXIFY name alone.

Who it’s for

It makes sense if you have a listed MAXIFY printer and want several replacement cartridges on hand instead of buying colors one at a time. For example, a home office that prints a mix of black-and-white documents and color handouts could keep the spare cartridges together and replace a color when it runs out. The pack’s three black cartridges and two of each color may suit that pattern better than a set with equal quantities of every ink.

Not the best choice if your printer model is not clearly included, or if you need a precise color-page estimate to plan printing costs. The listing does not explain how the cartridges compare with original-brand supplies, so the decision here is mainly about the compatible format and the included quantities. If predictable color yield matters more than having a multi-cartridge supply, a different purchasing approach may be easier to assess.

Included in the package

The nine-cartridge count breaks down as three 1200XL black cartridges, two cyan, two magenta, and two yellow. That gives you extra black cartridges relative to each color, rather than a single matching cartridge for every slot. The supplied details do not list additional items, so the package should be understood as the cartridges themselves.

Before you decide

Which printers are listed as compatible? The product information names several MAXIFY models, including the MB2720, MB2320, MB2700, MB2120, and MB2020. It also mentions MB2350, MB2050, and MB2030 in different parts of the listing, check your exact model because the lists are inconsistent.

How many cartridges are included? Nine total: three black and two each of cyan, magenta, and yellow.

Can you estimate the color yield? Not confidently from the supplied details. The color figure appears as “9,00 pages” at 5% coverage, so its intended value is not clear. The black yield is listed as 1,200 pages per cartridge at the stated coverage conditions.

Final verdict

This set is worth considering when your printer model is confirmed and you want a multi-cartridge 1200XL-compatible supply, particularly with more black cartridges than individual colors. The unclear color-yield figure and the inconsistent model list are meaningful drawbacks, though. If you need reliable planning figures or your printer is not plainly identified, choose a cartridge listing with clearer yield and compatibility details. The product description says “without having tried it,” so print results should not be assumed from its general quality claim alone.
