Best use cases

Choose this replacement when you want both familiar physical buttons and voice control in one remote. Use voice search to find content, switch channels, or adjust volume without navigating each command through on-screen menus. Prefer button control for direct, familiar input when browsing or watching TV. What if you want a more direct way to search without giving up conventional buttons? The BN59-01432A brings both control styles together for daily TV use.

The solar-powered design and USB Type-C charging provide two charging options for regular use. This can suit a viewing area where keeping a replacement remote ready is more convenient than relying on disposable batteries for installation. Its listed maximum range of 45 feet also gives useful context when positioning yourself in the room, place the remote where its infrared signal can reach the TV.

Compared with a basic button-only replacement, this model adds voice search for content discovery while retaining button controls for familiar commands. It is a practical fit for households that use compatible Samsung Neo QLED 8K TVs and want a replacement centered on everyday navigation, channel changes, and volume adjustment.

Is it worth it?

For owners of a compatible Samsung Neo QLED 8K TV, the key benefit is getting voice search and standard button control in one replacement remote. Solar power and USB Type-C charging add flexibility to how it is charged, while the listed TV examples and pairing steps make the setup process easier to follow. It’s a solid pick if you want voice-enabled control for everyday viewing and have confirmed that your TV model is among the compatible sets.
