Gvirtue MR22GN Voice Remote for LG TVs with Pointer and Voice Control
Product description
Replacing a remote for a compatible 2022 LG smart TV? The Gvirtue MR22GN brings voice control and pointer-based navigation to select OLED, QNED, NanoCell, and UHD 4K models. Its point, click, and scroll controls let you move through menus by guiding the on-screen cursor, while dedicated streaming buttons provide direct access to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and LG Channels.
Pair it with the TV to use its voice and pointer functions. The remote uses infrared and controls one device, making it a focused replacement for a compatible LG television.

What it works with
This remote is intended for compatible 2022 LG smart TVs, including OLED Z2, G2, C2, B2, and A2, QNED99, 90, 85, and 80, NanoCell NANO80 and 75, and UHD 4K UQ90 series models. Listed compatible television models include the LG OLED42C2PUA, OLED48C2PUA, OLED55B2PUA, OLED55G2PUA, and OLED65A2PUA. It also serves as a replacement for the referenced LG remote models MR22GN, MR22GA, MR22GC, and AKB76039902. Check your TV’s model and series against these compatibility details before pairing.
Want to navigate menus without relying only on directional buttons? Once paired, the pointer lets you move a cursor on screen and select items with a click, while voice control supports searching for shows and other content. The four streaming shortcuts add another direct way to open frequently used services.
How to use it
Turn on the compatible TV and insert two AA batteries, batteries are not included. To reset the remote for pairing, hold HOME and RETURN together for 10 seconds, then press the wheel (OK) button. Follow the connection prompt on the TV. Pairing is needed to use the voice and pointer functions, so complete that step before relying on those controls. The infrared connection and listed 10-meter range suit everyday television control from across a typical viewing area.
Buyer feedback describes the remote as easy to set up and useful as a replacement, while reports on button responsiveness and reliability are mixed. These experiences vary, so compatibility with the specific LG TV model remains the clearest starting point when choosing a replacement.
When it makes sense
The MR22GN is a practical fit when a compatible 2022 LG TV needs a replacement remote with more than basic button navigation. Pointer control can make browsing menus feel more direct, and voice input offers another way to search. For example, during a movie night, use the streaming shortcut buttons to open a service or pair the remote first and use voice search to find a title. If your priority is restoring remote control while retaining voice and cursor-based navigation on a supported LG television, the MR22GN brings those functions together in a single replacement.
