Topmart TM-0059 4-Step Dog Stairs, 30D Foam, Non-Slip Base

At 15.7 inches wide and 20.5 inches high, the Topmart TM-0059 gives small pets four foam steps for reaching a bed, sofa, or favorite chair. Its gentle slope offers a more gradual route to furniture than a jump, while the solid 30D foam core is designed to keep the steps steady as pets climb.

For pets that want to join you on the couch but benefit from a little help getting there, these stairs provide a dedicated path. The non-slip details help keep paws and steps secure during everyday use.

Getting the most from it

Place the steps beside the furniture your pet uses most, such as a high bed or living room sofa. The four-step layout helps small dogs, puppies, and older pets access their usual resting spots without needing to make the full jump. Cats are also listed among the intended pets, with recommendations that include senior cats and breeds such as Munchkin, Scottish Fold, Persian, and Sphynx.

The core arrives vacuum-compressed. Unwrap it and allow 48 to 72 hours for it to rebound to its full shape before use. No tools or assembly are required. For a pet that prefers moving independently, this offers a different approach from lifting them onto furniture each time, the steps stay positioned as a regular route up and down.

What stands out

A solid 30D foam core gives the steps a balanced base, while the top’s corduroy fabric provides traction for paws. Suede sides add a durable finish, and silicone paw prints on the bottom help the stairs stay in place on tile or hardwood. Together, these features support a steadier climb and make the steps suited to daily placement near a pet’s preferred furniture.

The cover is washable, and the stairs are rated for pets up to 50 pounds. Buyers often highlight the stability, sturdiness, and ease of use, including for senior cats. Feedback on overall size and step length is mixed, so the listed measurements can help you judge how the steps will fit beside your furniture and suit your pet’s stride.
