Toodour Solar Wind Chime with 7-Color LED Ball Lights, 6 LEDs

For anyone looking to add solar-powered color to a patio, garden, or window, the Toodour Solar Wind Chime combines a hanging ball-light display with seven changing colors. Its six LEDs charge in daylight and illuminate after dark, creating a decorative accent without needing a power cord at the hanging spot.

A swivel hook makes it easy to hang from a garden tree, porch, or patio fixture.

At a glance

The six ball lights change among red, green, orange, blue, yellow, purple, and white, with colors transitioning from one to another. That shifting display adds a moving splash of color to outdoor gatherings and everyday garden decor. The solar-powered design gathers energy during the day, after a full charge, the lights are described as lasting up to 8–10 hours.

The mobile is made of plastic and measures 20 inches high by 4.72 inches wide and 4.72 inches deep. Its IP65 waterproof rating suits outdoor display, including rainy or snowy conditions. For charging, position the solar panel where it can receive direct sunlight during the day.

How to use it

Set the switch to ON and hang the chime with its swivel hook. For initial charging, allow at least six hours in direct sunlight. To check the lights, cover the solar panel by hand or move it away from other light sources, this lets the unit respond as it would in darkness. The decoration can also be hung indoors, with the solar panel placed where it can receive daylight for charging.

Getting the most from it

Use it as a colorful focal point near a patio seating area, on a porch, or among garden plants. Unlike a fixed strand of lights, this hanging mobile brings its color-changing ball lights together in a suspended display, making it useful where you want a decorative accent rather than lighting spread along a railing or wall. It also works in a window or indoor room when the solar panel can be positioned for daytime sun.

Buyers often appreciate the nighttime appearance and gradual color changes. Feedback on lighting duration and durability is mixed, with some customers reporting that the lights last for hours and others describing early reliability or breakage issues. The panel’s access to direct sunlight is an important part of getting the intended solar display.

What to clarify

What colors do the lights show? The six LEDs cycle through red, green, orange, blue, yellow, purple, and white, transitioning gradually between colors.

How do I activate the lights for the first use? Set the switch to ON and charge the solar panel for at least six hours in direct sunlight. To test the lights, cover the panel or move it away from a light source.

What should I do if the hanging strands get tangled? Separate them gently. Avoid pulling by force, which can put stress on the strands.

When it makes sense

Choose this Toodour mobile when the goal is a hanging garden or patio accent that pairs solar charging with a multicolor nighttime display. Its ball-shaped LEDs, changing colors, and swivel hook make it suited to adding a decorative point of interest to outdoor spaces or a sunlit indoor window.
