Toodour S18-WC04 Solar Shell Wind Chime, Blue & Green, 2 Lighting Modes

For anyone looking to add solar-powered color and a gentle chime to a porch, patio, or garden, the Toodour S18-WC04 combines blue-and-green seashells with decorative LED lighting. Its hanging design brings visual interest by day and a soft-toned accent after dark.

Choose steady-on or slow-flash lighting to suit the setting, from a quiet window corner to a festive outdoor gathering.

Key features

Natural seashells, a starfish detail, and blue-and-green coloring give this wind chime a coastal look that works as a hanging accent in a garden, yard, porch, patio, or window. The gentle sound adds another sensory detail when a breeze moves the shells, while 18 LEDs bring the solar-powered decoration to life at night.

A built-in polycrystalline solar panel charges during the day, and a light sensor switches the illumination on as it gets dark. The two lighting modes—steady and slow flash—make it easy to choose between a consistent glow and a more playful effect. With IP65 water resistance, it can be displayed outdoors as well as indoors. Its listed dimensions are 5" L x 5" W x 27.8" H, making it a noticeable vertical accent without taking up floor or table space.

Buyers often praise the vivid colors and the light, tinkling sound in a breeze. Feedback on how long the lights stay on and how the hanging strings hold up is mixed, so treat it as a decorative accent and handle the shells and strings gently when hanging or untangling it.

Getting the most from it

Switch the chime on and place its solar panel in direct sunlight to charge. The product guidance recommends at least six hours of direct sun to activate it, a full charge is described as taking six to eight hours, with lighting lasting up to eight to ten hours. Actual lighting time can vary with charging conditions. After charging, cover the panel or move it away from light to check its operation. The light sensor responds to surrounding light, so choose a position where the panel can receive sun during the day and register darkness when the lights are wanted.

Usage tips

Hang it by its swivel hook where the shells can move freely, such as a porch, patio, garden, balcony, or window. For indoor display, it can add a colored light accent to a bedroom or party setting, for outdoor use, position it where its solar panel gets direct sun. If the strings become tangled, separate them gently rather than pulling, helping protect the hanging strands and shells.

Unlike a decorative light selected primarily for broad area lighting, this piece combines a hanging wind chime, seashell styling, and accent illumination. It’s a fit for spaces where a small solar-powered focal point and soft sound are part of the desired atmosphere, rather than a conventional light fixture.

When it makes sense

It suits you if you want a coastal-inspired gift or a colorful hanging accent for a porch, garden, or patio, with solar lighting that needs no separate lighting mode selection at night. The blue-and-green shells, two selectable light effects, and gentle chime make it especially fitting for relaxed outdoor spaces, seasonal decorating, or a thoughtful gift for a birthday or housewarming.
