TEEHO TE003 Keypad Door Knob Lock, Matte Black, One-Time Codes and Auto-Lock

The TEEHO TE003 is an aluminum-and-metal keypad door knob with a matte black finish. Enter a personal code or use one of the two backup keys. One-time codes make it easier to provide temporary access without sharing a regular household code.

What matters most

Set up to 20 individual user codes for household members or regular visitors, and create a one-time passcode for a guest, cleaner, or service professional. That code expires after use, keeping temporary access separate from the codes you use every day. Anti-peeping entry lets you add random digits around your actual password, so someone nearby has a harder time spotting the correct sequence.

For everyday routines, choose auto-lock timing from 10 to 99 seconds, auto-lock is off by default. You can also lock the door from outside by holding any keypad number for two seconds. A backlit keypad supports code entry in low light, while the battery indicator signals when power is running low. TEEHO lists up to one year of battery life under normal use with four AA batteries. Customer feedback praises the convenient keyless entry, appearance, and code options, while some customers report trouble with opening or latching, comments on battery life and door fit vary.

Getting the most from it

The lock is designed for doors with a 2-1/8-inch hole, a 2-3/8- or 2-3/4-inch backset, and a thickness of 1-3/8 to 2 inches. It fits standard U.S. wood and metal doors within those dimensions. Installation uses a screwdriver and does not require drilling. Once installed, program or reset access codes at the keypad.

Passage Mode keeps the door unlocked when people need to move in and out freely, such as during cleaning, a gathering, or moving items. For everyday privacy, the interior knob provides a manual way to lock the door. The lock is rated IP54 and ANSI Grade 3, with an aluminum alloy keypad and stainless steel handle.

Best use cases

Use the TE003 on a front, back, side, bedroom, garage, or office door where keypad access can make routine entry more convenient than relying on a key alone. In a short-term rental, a one-time code offers a way to give a visitor temporary access, at home, individual codes help distinguish access for household members. Passage Mode is useful when a door needs to stay open during a busy period, while auto-lock adds a timed locking option for regular use.

Should you buy it?

Choose this keypad knob if you want multiple access options in one lock: personal codes, one-time entry, two physical keys, and Passage Mode. Its practical advantage over a key-only knob is the ability to create temporary or individual codes and lock from the keypad. For a compatible interior or entry door, the TE003 combines those access choices with a backlit keypad, adjustable auto-lock, and a matte black finish.
