The timer can be set for up to 8 hours, which is useful for patio evenings when you want a defined operating period.

Practical tips

This model is intended for outdoor use and connects to AC power. Set it up on the floor as a tower heater, then use the controls to choose a heat level and timer setting. Its tip-over and overheat protection add safety functions for everyday operation, use the heater in accordance with its instructions and keep its outdoor placement appropriate for an electric appliance. The remote, oscillation, and adjustable heat levels give you several ways to tailor use to a seating arrangement without changing the heater’s position.

Buyers commonly praise the heat output and performance, with some noting that it warms quickly. Feedback about reliability is mixed: some report satisfactory operation, while others say the heater stopped working. Some buyers also question its value. Those impressions are useful context alongside the product’s documented features.

Buying verdict

The Sundate is a practical fit for people who want adjustable radiant heat for a defined outdoor seating area, rather than a heater aimed at warming an entire space. Its 8 heat levels, 60° oscillation, remote control, and built-in timer make it easy to adapt operation to a patio gathering or a quiet evening on the porch. If those controls and focused outdoor use match your plans, this tower format brings them together in a compact footprint.
