Buyplus BGP1506-150-17 Portable Electric Heater, 1500W, 3 Modes, Yellow

For a chilly garage work session or a covered patio gathering, the Buyplus BGP1506-150-17 offers portable electric heat with selectable output. It has fan-only, 750W, and 1500W settings, so you can choose between airflow and two heat levels rather than running at full power every time. The listing describes it for patios, garages, bedrooms, and other rooms, with a handle and non-slip base for moving and positioning it.

Its practical appeal is the combination of a compact footprint, multiple modes, and overheat protection. The product listing describes rapid heating, but that timing is a manufacturer claim rather than a guarantee of how quickly a particular space will warm.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the rotary switch to select fan-only operation, 750W heat, or 1500W heat. That gives you a lower setting for more modest heating needs and a higher setting when you want the unit’s full listed output. Fan-only mode may also be useful when you want airflow without selecting a heating mode.

The heater measures 12 inches deep, 10 inches wide, and 8 inches high, and its 7.8-foot cord can give you some flexibility when choosing a spot near a power source. The built-in handle supports carrying it between rooms, while the non-slip base is intended to help keep it steady on a suitable surface. The listing does not provide a weather-resistance rating, so outdoor use should not be taken to mean that the heater is suitable for rain or exposure to the elements.

What you’ll notice day to day

The three settings make this more flexible than a heater that offers only one heat level: you can switch between fan-only airflow and two power settings using the dial. The listed 1500W maximum output and coverage of up to 200 square feet provide a reference point for deciding whether it fits a particular area, though actual heating depends on the space and conditions. The source also describes operation below 40 decibels, treat that as a listed specification, not a guarantee that it will be inaudible in a quiet room.

The self-resetting heat breaker is designed to cut power if the unit reaches its thermal protection temperature. That is a useful safety feature, but it does not replace following the heater’s instructions or using it in an appropriate location. It makes sense if you want a portable heater with more than one output setting for a garage, bedroom, or patio area. You may want to skip it if your priority is a heater with a documented weather-resistance rating, which is not provided here.

When it makes sense

This Buyplus model is suited to shoppers looking for a small, movable electric heater with selectable output, rather than a fixed heating solution. A realistic use case is moving it to a garage work area, then using a lower setting when full output is unnecessary. Its compact dimensions and handle support that portable approach, a permanently installed or more powerful heating system may be a better fit for larger or consistently occupied spaces. For this type of use, the clearest reasons to choose it are the three operating modes, stated 1500W maximum, and overheat protection. The listing also mentions a one-year warranty, but does not provide further coverage terms.
