This red two-pack includes 3.3 ft cables with a round, nylon-braided exterior. The short format suits nearby devices, while having two cables on hand helps connect more than one HDMI setup.

The braided exterior gives the cable a distinct finish, and the two-cable format is useful when connecting multiple devices or setting up more than one display area. The listed video formats make it a fit for compatible high-resolution equipment, the actual signal also depends on the connected devices and setup.

Customer feedback highlights picture quality, while comments on video performance, flexibility, and durability are mixed. Some buyers report 4K at 120 Hz support, while others describe output at 60 Hz. That feedback makes it useful to match the cable to the capabilities and settings of the specific devices in your setup.

Compatibility

These cables are intended for HDMI-equipped devices, including TVs, laptops, personal computers, DVD and Blu-ray players, projectors, and game consoles. The product listing names PS5, PS4, PS3, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 among compatible systems, along with Roku TV devices and projectors.

They’re described as compatible with HDMI 2.1 and backward compatible with HDMI 2.0, 1.4, 1.3, and 1.2. This makes them suitable for connecting newer HDMI equipment as well as devices using earlier versions. For example, use one cable between a console and a TV, and the second for another HDMI connection in the same entertainment setup.

How to use it

Connect a male HDMI end to the source device and the other end to an HDMI input on the TV, projector, or other display. Select the corresponding input on the display to view the connected source. For the listed high-resolution and refresh-rate formats, the source device and display must also support the format you want to use.

The 3.3 ft length works well when the connected devices are close together, such as a console beside a TV or a laptop near a projector. Its round cable shape and nylon braid make it easy to identify among other cords, while the red color helps distinguish it in a cable setup.

Before you decide

How many cables are included? The product is sold as a two-pack, so it includes two HDMI cables.

Is the cable braided? Yes. The outer material is nylon, and the cable is described as braided.

Does it work with older HDMI versions? It is listed as backward compatible with HDMI 2.0, 1.4, 1.3, and 1.2, as well as compatible with HDMI 2.1 devices.

When it makes sense

Choose this Snowkids set when you need two short HDMI connections for a TV, gaming, or projector setup and want cables specified for HDMI 2.1 devices. The 3.3 ft length suits nearby components, and the braided red finish gives each cord a recognizable look. It’s a practical match for connecting compatible devices while keeping a spare cable available for another HDMI connection.
