Silkland Silkland-XXX 90-Degree USB-C Adapter, 40Gbps USB4, 240W, 8K

The 90-degree USB-C connector redirects the cable along the edge of your device, helping keep connections manageable in tight or awkward spaces.

This two-pack supports USB4 bandwidth up to 40Gbps, video up to 8K, and charging up to 240W. Those capabilities make it a versatile adapter for compatible USB-C setups.

Need a connection that sits closer to the device instead of projecting straight out? Its slim aluminum-alloy body is designed to preserve access to the neighboring port.

What it works with

The adapter is intended for USB-C devices, including PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, game consoles, and VR headsets. Listed examples include Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Nintendo Switch, Meta Quest headsets, MacBook Pro, Surface Book 2, and select iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and Google Pixel models. It also supports Thunderbolt 4 and Thunderbolt 3 devices. The connected device and accessories need to support the relevant charging, data, or video capability to use it.

For a clean fit, the USB-C port should be fully exposed, thick or bulky cases can affect how the connector seats. The metal frame has a non-slip design to make insertion and removal easier. Customers often describe the connection as snug and appreciate the angled shape for crowded setups, while some report inconsistent connectivity with cell phones, so fit and connection can vary by device.

Best use cases

This adapter is useful when a straight USB-C plug sticks out too far, catches on nearby objects, or makes a handheld device awkward to hold. Its right-angle layout can help route a cable alongside a laptop, tablet, or game handheld rather than directly away from its port. It can also make charging or connecting accessories more convenient when a device is positioned close to a desk, stand, or other surface.

The slim profile is suited to setups where neighboring ports matter, while the two-adapter pack gives you a pair for separate devices or locations. Choose it when you want a compact connector that combines angled cable routing with USB4 data, high-power charging, and video support in one accessory.

Before you decide

Does it support fast charging? The adapter supports charging up to 240W and USB PD 3.1 EPR. The connected device, charger, and cable must also support the charging level you want to use.

Can it carry 8K video? It supports video up to 8K. The connected computer or device and display setup must support the video mode as well.

Will it fit with a protective case? The USB-C port needs to be fully exposed for the connector to seat properly. Thick or bulky cases may affect the fit.

Should you buy it?

Choose the Silkland adapter when a straight connector is inconvenient and you want a compact right-angle USB-C connection for compatible laptops, tablets, phones, handheld consoles, or VR gear. Its 40Gbps USB4 support, 240W charging capability, and 8K video support bring several useful connection options to a small two-piece set.
