Selore&S-Global UC2205 6-in-1 USB-C Hub for MacBook, 100W PD, SD/microSD

Three USB 3.0 ports make it easy to connect everyday peripherals, while the SD and microSD reader gives you a direct way to access files from memory cards. The Selore&S-Global UC2205 is a 6-in-1 USB-C hub designed for MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, bringing connections for accessories, card access, and power delivery together in one compact adapter.

Its Thunderbolt 3 port supports up to 100W power delivery, data transfer up to 40Gbps, and video output up to 5K or dual 4K at 60Hz. That makes the hub useful for a desk setup as well as a portable workspace.

Everyday use

Connect a mouse, printer, or compatible external drive through the three USB 3.0 ports. They support data transfer up to 5Gbps and work with USB 2.0 devices, so the hub can serve both newer and older peripherals. The SD and microSD slots can operate simultaneously, making it practical to access photos or video files from both card types without relying on separate readers. Card-reader speeds are listed up to 104Mbps.

For a workday at a desk, the Thunderbolt 3 port can handle power delivery while also supporting high-speed data transfer and video output. The hub has an aluminum enclosure and weighs 0.07 kg, making it easy to carry with a laptop. It is designed for MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models, including M1, M2, and M3 configurations. For a secure connection, use it without a protective case on the MacBook. It does not have an HDMI port, so video output uses the Thunderbolt 3 connection.

Pros

The main advantage is having several useful connection types in one adapter: three USB 3.0 ports, SD and microSD card slots, and a Thunderbolt 3 port with power delivery. This is a more integrated approach than carrying separate single-purpose adapters for USB accessories and memory cards. USB 3.0 transfer speeds up to 5Gbps suit common peripheral and file-transfer tasks, while Thunderbolt 3 adds support for faster data transfer and high-resolution video output.

For power and device setup, note that the hub supports one hard drive at a time and does not support Apple SuperDrive or high-power devices. These details help match the hub to a practical laptop setup with everyday peripherals, card access, and a compatible display or power connection.

Key takeaways

The UC2205 combines six connection functions in a lightweight aluminum design for compatible MacBook Pro and MacBook Air laptops. Its card reader supports simultaneous SD and microSD use, and its three USB 3.0 ports support up to 5Gbps data transfer. The Thunderbolt 3 connection supports up to 100W power delivery, up to 40Gbps data transfer, and video output up to 5K or dual 4K at 60Hz. It is a useful choice when the goal is to consolidate everyday connections rather than carry separate USB and card-reader adapters.

Should you buy it?

It’s a great fit if you use a compatible MacBook Pro or MacBook Air and want USB 3.0 ports and SD/microSD access in one portable hub. The combination of card reading, Thunderbolt 3 power delivery, data, and video support makes it especially suited to a laptop workspace that uses memory cards and wired peripherals. Choose it for those connections, with video routed through Thunderbolt 3 rather than HDMI.
