Sharpie Permanent Markers, 45 Count

Quick overview

Two tip sizes make this 45-count Sharpie set more flexible than a pack built around one marker style: fine tips handle broader strokes, while ultra-fine tips give you more control for small details.

The collection includes 25 fine-tip and 20 ultra-fine-tip markers in assorted cosmic and original colors. That mix is useful when a project moves between bold lettering and tighter outlines.

The permanent ink is designed to mark paper, plastic, metal, and most other surfaces. It dries quickly and resists water and fading, though those claims don’t tell you exactly how it will perform on every material.

Best use cases

This set makes sense for classroom supplies, arts and crafts, and everyday labeling when color variety matters. For example, you could use a fine tip to add a clear heading to a project, then switch to an ultra-fine tip for small notes or details. The range of tips and colors also gives a teacher or craft table more options without having to assemble separate packs.

Compared with buying markers that all have the same point, this assortment offers more flexibility for mixed-size writing and drawing. A single-tip pack may be simpler if you know you’ll only make broad marks or only need fine detail. A solid pick if you want both options in one collection and expect to use the markers across different surfaces.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose the fine point for more noticeable strokes and the ultra-fine point when you need tighter control. On a surface other than paper, test a small area first if the appearance matters, the listing names plastic and metal among the surfaces, but doesn’t specify results for every finish or item.

Keep in mind that the description gives no numerical drying-time figure, so it’s hard to compare how quickly the ink sets with another marker without that measurement. It also says the ink resists water and fading, not that it is completely waterproof or permanent under every condition. Store and use the markers with the project and surface in mind rather than assuming identical results everywhere.

Buying verdict

This assortment is aimed at buyers who want color variety and two practical point sizes for school, crafts, or general marking. It’s more useful for projects that alternate between larger strokes and small details than a pack with one uniform tip. It might not be a great match if you need a specified drying time, guaranteed results on a particular finish, or a set made entirely of one tip size, those details aren’t established here.
