Sasttie 8' x 10' Beige Washable Area Rug with Low-Pile Faux Wool

Set it beneath a living room seating area or use it to define a bedroom or dining space. This Sasttie 8' x 10' area rug pairs a muted beige vintage-inspired look with a soft faux-wool surface. Its low pile and silicone-dotted backing are designed for everyday indoor use on hard floors. Want an easier-care rug for a frequently used room? This one is machine washable.

How it fits

The rectangular 8' x 10' size gives a larger room a clear anchor, whether you place it under living room furniture or use it to bring a bedroom or home office together. The distressed print and subdued beige palette suit farmhouse, boho, rustic, and modern interiors without making the rug the only focus in the room. It is also listed for dining rooms and kitchens, so it can serve as a consistent design element across different indoor spaces.

This rug combines a washable surface with a grippy backing, rather than relying on a separate rug pad for traction on hard flooring. The low-pile profile also makes it a practical choice for rooms where doors or a robot vacuum need to pass over the rug’s edge.

Benefits

The faux-cashmere-style surface is designed to feel soft under bare feet, while a cushioning layer adds comfort without a bulky look. That makes it well suited to everyday routines such as walking through the living room, getting out of bed, or spending time on the floor. Its distressed pattern gives the beige rug a gently aged character and can help everyday marks blend into the overall design.

For day-to-day spills, the surface is described as water resistant and easy to wipe before liquid sets. For a deeper clean, the rug can go in the washing machine, follow the care instructions and use a gentle cycle. The silicone-dotted backing is intended to help it stay in place on hard floors, and the rug is described as shed resistant. It is also listed as OEKO-TEX certified.

Buyer feedback often highlights the backing’s grip, the fit in their rooms, and the rug’s appearance after settling. Some buyers describe it as less thin than expected, while others find it somewhat thin, so perceptions of its feel vary. That feedback makes the low-pile format worth considering when choosing a rug for a furnished, frequently used space.

Questions before you buy

Can you machine wash this rug? Yes. It is machine washable, and the care instructions describe using a gentle cycle for a deeper clean. For fresh spills, wipe the surface before liquid sets.

Will it stay in place on a hard floor? The silicone-dotted backing is designed to grip hard floors and help keep the rug in place, without requiring a separate rug pad for that use.

What should you do after unpacking it? The rug is delivered folded and vacuum-packed. Lay it flat for a few days so fold marks can relax and the inner layer can rebound.
