Ruko 18011-Black Gold Interactive Robot Dog with LED Faces, Remote & Gesture Control
Product description
Bring a little movement to indoor play with the Ruko 18011-Black Gold robot dog. It walks, turns, spins, slides, and dances, giving kids a playful companion for imaginative games at home.
Choose how to interact: guide the puppy with its remote, use gesture control, or touch its head to trigger sounds and movements. Its LED faces add expressive reactions to playtime.
For kids ages 3–8, the programmable action feature adds another way to make play their own. Create sequences of up to 50 actions, from tricks to dance moves.
Practical tips
Use the remote to direct the robot dog around a room, or try gesture and touch controls for a more hands-on interaction. Obstacle avoidance helps it steer around objects during indoor play, making a clear floor area a natural place for movement games. Kids can also use its sounds, expressions, and actions as prompts for pretend pet care, storytelling, or dance routines.
The programming key lets children arrange up to 50 actions into custom sequences. This gives them a hands-on way to plan and replay a routine instead of relying only on preset movements. The toy is designed for ages 3–8, with play activities intended for one player. Charging uses the included USB A-to-C cable, a USB C-to-C cable is not compatible. The remote requires two AAA batteries, which are not included.

What you’ll notice day to day
The expressive LED faces give the puppy a changing look as it reacts, while movement and sound make it more active than a figure meant mainly for display or quiet roleplay. A child can steer it across the living room, prompt a dance, then build a new sequence with the programming key. Remote, gesture, and touch controls offer different ways to join in, whether a child wants to direct the action or interact up close.
Buyers often describe the toy as entertaining, with its appearance, movements, and dances standing out. Feedback is mixed on functionality and battery experience, and some buyers report durability concerns. These are individual experiences, but they offer useful context when choosing an interactive toy. It’s a great fit if a child will enjoy a moving, responsive toy with several control options, a simpler stationary plush toy suits a different kind of play.
Is it worth it?
The Ruko 18011-Black Gold brings movement, expressive faces, and programmable routines together in one robot pet. That combination gives kids several ways to play beyond steering a toy in a straight line, from creating a sequence of tricks to building stories around its reactions. For families looking for an interactive indoor companion for children ages 3–8, the remote, gesture, and touch controls make it easy to vary the play and keep the focus on imaginative activities.
