J Rootage SM012S Remote Control Dinosaur Toy with 3 Sound Effects

For dinosaur-themed play on the floor, the J Rootage SM012S adds remote-controlled walking, sound effects, and a one-click demo mode. Its green dinosaur design features 3D eyes and a realistic shape to make imaginative play feel more engaging than a static figure.

Want a quick way to start the action? Press the demo function to see the dinosaur walk and play sounds, or use the 2.4GHz remote to control it during play.

The toy measures 13.4 x 4.7 x 4.9 inches and is designed for indoor use. Its rechargeable dinosaur battery and included USB cable make it easy to recharge between play sessions.

Best use cases

This remote control dinosaur suits children who enjoy moving toys, prehistoric creatures, and sound-led pretend play. On a clear indoor floor, kids can guide the dinosaur as it walks and use its three sound effects to build scenes around a Jurassic adventure. The one-click demo is useful when they want the toy to perform without actively steering it.

Compared with a traditional dinosaur figure, this toy adds movement and remote interaction, compared with a remote-control vehicle, its animal shape and roar music give play a character-driven focus. It can also be a fitting dinosaur-themed birthday or holiday gift for a child who likes interactive toys.

Strengths

The 2.4GHz controller gives children a direct way to start and stop the dinosaur, while the demo function offers a simple alternative for showing its walking action and sounds. The dinosaur plays three different sounds as it walks, bringing audio into imaginative play without requiring a separate music feature to be operated continuously. An automatic shutoff activates after five minutes without control, helping reduce power use when play pauses.

Buyer feedback often highlights the toy’s sounds, walking action, and enjoyable play, with some customers praising the remote control. Feedback is mixed on assembly, and some buyers report that the arms can come off during use. These comments are useful context when choosing an interactive toy and handling it during play.
