Retevis H-777 FRS Walkie-Talkies, 6-Pack with USB-C and Six-Way Charger
Product description
When a group needs quick, shared communication, a set of matching radios can be more practical than relying on individual phones. The Retevis H-777 bundle includes six radios and a six-way charger, with VOX hands-free operation and an emergency alarm for team use at events, schools, or busy workplaces.
The radios use FRS frequencies and have 16 channels. Their listed maximum talking range is 1.5 miles, but that figure is not a guarantee of coverage in every setting. The product is described as water-repellent, not waterproof.
Practical tips
Set the radios to the same channel before splitting up, and agree on a simple call procedure so messages are easy to follow. The listing says H-777 4.0 radios work out of the box with H-777 2.0 and 3.0 versions on the same channel. It also names several compatible Retevis models, including RT22, RT27, RT68, B3H, RT19, RT21, and H777H. Check that the radios being used together share a channel and are compatible before an event.
For a busy service shift or event crew, the six-way charger lets the group charge six radios or batteries at once. USB-C charging is also listed, along with a dock option. VOX can support hands-free use, while the built-in LED flashlight and emergency alarm provide additional functions, the listing does not detail how the alarm is heard or received, so don’t treat it as a substitute for an agreed emergency plan.

Why it’s worth it
The main advantage is the group-ready setup: six radios and a charger designed to handle all six together. That makes this more suited to coordinating a crew than buying a single radio for occasional personal use. Clear audio is a stated design aim, with an upgraded speaker and squelch function, buyers also describe clear sound and useful performance in settings such as wooded areas and large buildings. Their range reports are mixed by setting, with some describing shorter coverage in densely populated areas than the listed maximum.
Feedback is not uniformly positive. Some buyers report good battery life and sturdy units, while others describe batteries failing, radios stopping work, or parts breaking. Transmission reports also vary, from clear communication to noticeable static. It suits you if a coordinated six-radio kit and shared charging matter more than having individually tailored devices. It’s not for you if you need a waterproof rating or dependable coverage at a specific distance, those assurances aren’t established by the listed details. If you prioritize reliability for essential communication, the mixed reports are worth weighing before choosing this set.
Final verdict
The Retevis H-777 is a practical format for event staff, school groups, or small teams that want six matching FRS radios and one charger for the set. Its channel count, VOX, and emergency alarm cover useful coordination needs, while USB-C adds another charging option. The documented range is a maximum rather than a promise for every location, and water resistance is only described as water-repellent. Choose it for group communication where those qualifications are acceptable, not as a substitute for equipment with a specified waterproof rating or assured coverage.
