QDAN Dog Soccer Ball, 5-Inch PU Leather Toy with Grab Straps

Bring the QDAN Dog Soccer Ball out for a game of fetch in the yard, or use its grab straps to make tug part of an interactive play session. Its 5-inch size is designed for small dogs, and the waterproof ball floats for play around pools, lakes, or the beach.

The lightweight, portable design also works indoors, so play can move from the living room to an outdoor setting. If you’re choosing between a ball for chasing and one that gives you a grip for tug, this soccer-style toy brings both play approaches together.

What matters most

The ball is made from PU leather and has straps that give dogs a place to grab while playing. That makes it suited to interactive games such as fetch and tug, rather than being presented as a chew toy. Its spherical shape supports rolling and chasing, while the lightweight construction makes it easy to bring along for play indoors or outside.

Water play is another practical use: the ball is waterproof and designed to float. Take it along for a game near the pool, lake, or beach, then use it for land-based play as well. The black-and-green soccer-ball look adds a sporty finish without changing its straightforward role as a dog toy.

Buyers often describe the ball as engaging for fetch and tug, and report that their dogs enjoy playing with it. Feedback on durability is mixed, however, and some buyers say their dogs chew through it. The intended use is interactive play, not chewing, so choose it for games you can take part in rather than as a chew-focused toy.

Fit and sizing

This version measures 5 inches and is recommended for small dogs, including puppies weighing 5–20 lbs. Its compact format is intended for smaller dogs to chase and grab during play. Check the listed size against your dog’s needs when choosing a ball, buyers’ opinions on size vary, with some finding it just right and others expecting a larger toy.

Best use cases

Use it for fetch when your dog has room to run, or hold the straps for a game of tug. For water outings, its floating design gives you another way to bring the same toy into play. It can also be used indoors, making it a practical option for switching between a quick living-room game and outdoor activity. A short, engaged game with you is the use this toy is designed to support.

Before you decide

Can this ball be used in water? Yes. It is described as waterproof and designed to float, making it suitable for play around a pool, lake, or beach.

What are the straps for? They give your dog a place to grab during interactive games, including tug, and can help make the ball easier to catch during play.

Is it intended as a chew toy? No. It is intended for interactive play, not chewing. Buyers report mixed durability, including cases where dogs chewed through the ball, so choose it for fetch and tug rather than prolonged chewing.
