PJYuCien YL-8-24x36-DPP-B-2-Black-CA Dog Playpen, 8 Panels, 36-Inch, Pad

Set up a contained play area at home or in the backyard with the PJYuCien 8-panel dog playpen. Each panel is 24 inches wide, and the 36-inch-tall enclosure has a double-latch door for everyday access. Its waterproof pad can protect indoor floors as a liner or serve as a top cover outdoors.

A crate creates a defined resting spot, this octagonal pen gives pets a separate area to move around. The panels fold flat for storage or travel.

Why it makes sense

For puppies and medium pets up to 23 inches tall, this playpen offers a practical space for supervised play, settling in, or keeping pets contained while you handle household tasks. The connected panels unfold without tools, and separate metal buckles lock the ends together. For grass, the included ground stakes help secure the setup, indoors, the attached pad catches spills and helps protect floors.

Customer feedback often highlights easy setup and take-down, room for puppies and small dogs, and useful containment. Opinions on sturdiness and durability are mixed, so the pen is best suited to pets that are not aggressive chewers or highly active. For the best stability, keep the bottom pad attached during use.

Key features

The black-coated playpen is designed to resist water and rust, making it usable indoors and outdoors. Its eight 24-inch-wide panels form an octagonal enclosure, and the double-latch door provides a convenient entry point. When playtime is over, the panels fold flat for storage or travel.

The dual-function pad is made from 600D PVC-coated Oxford fabric. Use it underneath as a waterproof liner with 3.1-inch raised edges, or attach it over the pen as a cover to help stop climbing out and block birds. Elastic straps stretch from 2.5 to 4.7 inches, and 24 snap-on hooks—three per side—secure the pad to the octagonal frame. The pad fits this octagonal shape.

Cleaning & care

Hand-wash the pad and let it air-dry flat. Do not machine-wash, twist, or wring it, these care steps help preserve its waterproof coating. To attach the pad, lay it flat with the smooth side facing up and the rough side down, then line up the frame and fasten the clasps along each edge. A replacement pad is sold separately for heavy chewers.
