Highlights

At 40 x 32 x 24 inches, the ROMANTIC BEAR 7820 foldable playpen gives small pets a roomy enclosed area for play or rest. Its rectangular, four-panel design uses breathable mesh for visibility and airflow, with 600D Oxford cloth covering and reinforced corners and seams.

Two roll-up mesh doors with locking zippers make it easier for pets to enter and exit. The playpen folds flat for storage and transport, and comes with a carry case for trips, camping, or moving it between rooms.

For pet owners choosing between a soft-sided enclosure and a traditional kennel, this playpen offers an open, visible space for supervised indoor or outdoor use. The rectangular footprint also makes it easier to place along a wall or in a corner. It is intended for small pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals, it is not suitable for pets with excessive teething or destructive chewing behavior.

Buyers often appreciate its roomy interior, portability, and straightforward setup. Feedback on durability and zipper performance is mixed, so those experiences vary. The mesh panels and two entry points are practical features to consider when choosing an enclosure for a pet that benefits from visibility and convenient access.

How to take care of it

Wipe the playpen clean or spot-clean the fabric as needed. A blanket can be placed underneath to create a comfortable surface, wash the blanket separately when it gets dirty. These simple care options make it practical for everyday use, including situations where pets may track in dirt or shed.

Practical tips

Choose a level spot with enough room for the full 40 x 32-inch footprint and 24-inch height. The two roll-up doors allow access from different sides, while the mesh ceiling and windows keep the interior visible. Four bottom lanyards help prevent pets from dragging or running off with the enclosure. Use the accessory pocket for small items and the water bottle pocket to keep supplies close by. When it is time to pack up, fold the playpen flat and use its elastic straps to hold it together for carrying or storage.

For a temporary home base while traveling or camping, set it up where you can keep an eye on your pet and provide familiar bedding. At home, it can create a defined play or rest area without the rigid structure of a conventional kennel. Match the enclosure to your pet’s size and behavior so the available space suits the way they move and rest.
