Pet Feeding Mat 19 x 12 Inches

A splash around the water bowl or crumbs scattered after dinner can turn a feeding corner into another spot to clean. This silicone pet feeding mat is designed to sit beneath bowls, fountains, or feeders and catch everyday spills before they spread across the floor. Its raised border and waterproof surface make cleanup a wipe-or-rinse job rather than a wash-and-dry routine. The listed size is 19 x 12 inches, so the main decision is whether that footprint suits your bowls and the space where your pet eats.

Getting the most from it

Place the mat on a flat section of floor and arrange the bowls or feeder within its raised edges. For example, after a dog splashes water while drinking, the border is intended to hold that runoff on the mat instead of letting it travel across the feeding area. The non-slip surface is also intended to help keep bowls, water fountains, and automatic feeders from shifting, though it won’t make a bowl immovable if a pet pushes hard.

When food or water collects, wipe the silicone or rinse it under running water. Unlike a fabric mat, this one is not meant to absorb a spill, liquid stays on the surface until you clean it. That can suit a kitchen or laundry-room feeding station where quick rinsing is convenient, but it also means you’ll need to remove standing water rather than leave it there. The flexible one-piece design has no hard-to-reach corners, which helps with crumbs and routine cleanup.

Why it’s worth it

The raised 0.59-inch edge is the key detail for homes dealing with bowl overflow, splashes, or scattered kibble. A reinforced inner rim is intended to support the edge and resist curling or collapsing, while the BPA-free, food-grade silicone is waterproof and reusable. The mat is listed in light green and can be used beneath cat or dog bowls, including feeding setups with fountains or automatic feeders.

If you prioritize a surface that contains wet messes and wipes clean, this is a more practical approach than a fabric mat that can take longer to dry. If you prefer a mat that absorbs water rather than leaving it on the surface, fabric may suit your routine better. The tradeoff here is footprint: 19 x 12 inches may work for a compact bowl station, but a wider arrangement or large feeder could extend beyond the edges. Measure the space your setup occupies before choosing it.

At a glance

• Material: BPA-free, food-grade silicone
• Size: 19 x 12 inches
• Raised edge: 0.59 inches
• Color: Light green
• Design: Waterproof, non-slip surface with a reinforced inner rim
• Cleanup: Wipe clean or rinse with water

These details point to a reusable floor protector for everyday feeding messes, not a replacement for cleaning the bowls themselves. Its stated uses include pet bowls, water fountains, gravity feeders, and automatic feeders, but the available information does not specify how many or what size of bowls will fit at once.

Should you buy it?

It’s a great fit if your pet tends to splash water or scatter food and you want a washable barrier under a compact feeding station. The silicone construction also makes sense if you would rather rinse away mess than launder a fabric mat. Better avoided if your setup is larger than the 19 x 12-inch surface, or if you want a mat that soaks up spills instead of containing them for cleanup. For a small, defined bowl area, its value comes down to the raised edge and easy-clean surface, for a wide feeding setup, a larger mat is the more sensible choice.
