TCULOSD CWD-01 Silicone Pet Food Mat, 16 x 16-Inch, Waterproof Black

At 16 x 16 inches, the TCULOSD CWD-01 is a compact silicone mat for a pet’s feeding area. Its square format suits smaller spaces where a full-size mat may take up more room than needed.

The waterproof silicone helps protect the floor from water, while a raised edge keeps splashes and dropped kibble on the mat.

A textured underside helps keep the mat in place when pets step near the edge. The black finish gives the feeding area a simple, understated look.

Key takeaways

This small pet food mat is sized for cats, kittens, puppies, toy breeds, and small dogs. Set it beneath a bowl in a crate corner, on a kitchen ledge, or in an apartment feeding spot to give spills a contained landing area without spreading a large mat across the floor.

The raised lip and waterproof surface work together to catch water and food before they reach the floor. For everyday cleanup, rinse or wipe the mat, or machine wash it. When it’s time to clear the area, it can be rolled or folded flat for storage in a drawer or travel bag.

Buyers often praise its ease of cleaning, grip, and ability to keep water off the floor. Some also mention using it beneath litter boxes, and appreciate the raised edge for catching food and water. These are useful observations for anyone considering the mat for a compact pet area.

Quick sizing guide

The 16 x 16-inch footprint is designed for a single-bowl setup in a small feeding space. Measure the spot where you plan to place it, such as a crate corner or kitchen ledge, and consider the area around the bowl where splashes and dropped kibble may land. Buyers also mention using it with large water bowls, so the bowl’s placement and the surrounding catch area are worth considering together.

If you’re choosing between a compact mat and a full-size floor mat, this format is suited to a defined feeding station rather than covering a broad area. It offers a dedicated surface for small pets while taking up little storage space when rolled or folded.

Tips for day-to-day use

Place the bowl on the mat so the raised edge surrounds the feeding area. The textured underside helps resist sliding as a pet steps on the edge, and the waterproof silicone provides a practical surface for routine spills. After feeding, rinse or wipe away residue, or machine wash the mat as needed. Let the feeding area stay tidy by storing the mat flat when it’s not in use or packing it in a travel bag.

Should you buy it?

It’s a great fit if you want a compact, washable feeding surface for a cat, kitten, puppy, or small dog. The 16 x 16-inch size works well for a focused bowl area, while waterproof silicone, a raised edge, and a textured underside address common feeding messes. Choose it for a small, defined pet station where easy cleanup and convenient storage matter.
