Peslv pe-cxfk-mac air 15 Magnetic Privacy Screen for 15-Inch MacBook Air

At 13.21 x 8.66 inches, this PET privacy screen is designed for the 15-inch MacBook Air. Its matte surface helps reduce reflected light, making it useful in bright offices and shared workspaces.

The removable magnetic design lets you attach the screen when you want more privacy and take it off when you don’t. That makes it a flexible alternative to a permanently attached screen filter.

It is compatible with MacBook Air 15-inch models from 2023–2026 with M2, M3, M4, or M5 chips, including model numbers A2941, A3114, A3241, and A3448. Match your MacBook’s model before ordering.

Getting the most from it

For installation, align the magnetic strip at the top with the display bezel, with the slightly raised side facing you, then press gently. The lower nano-silicone strip helps the screen sit in place. Accurate alignment matters: positioning the top edge incorrectly can leave a gap at the bottom. When you want an unobstructed screen, remove the filter and store it with the included organizer.

This setup suits work sessions in places where other people may be nearby, such as an airport, café, train, or open office. The privacy filter is designed to limit side viewing, with a stated viewing angle of about ±30 degrees from the front. Two sliding camera covers are also included for use when you want to cover the camera.

Strengths

Privacy and screen comfort are combined in one removable accessory. The matte finish is designed to reduce glare, while the filter is stated to reduce 95% of blue light and 92% of UV light. Its scratch-resistant layer adds a protective surface for everyday handling, and the magnetic mounting makes it possible to remove the screen when you need a different viewing setup.

Buyer feedback is mixed on how securely the screen stays attached and how well the privacy effect, fit, and screen clarity work in practice. Some also differ in their assessments of glare reduction and durability. Careful alignment during installation is especially useful for getting the intended fit.

Should you buy it?

If you want a removable privacy filter rather than a permanently attached protector, this Peslv screen offers magnetic mounting, a matte finish, and camera covers in a package made for specific 15-inch MacBook Air models. You’ll appreciate it if you regularly use your laptop in shared spaces and want the option to add privacy for those sessions, then remove the screen when it’s no longer needed.
