Ougourim ZDBMQH65 Hydraulic Door Closer, Black Aluminum, Adjustable Speed

Hydraulic spring action helps bring a door closed automatically, making this Ougourim closer useful for residential and commercial entrances. Its black aluminum body has a compact 6.9-inch length, with a 9.4-inch arm. Need a closer sized for a particular door? Check the door’s weight, width, and thickness against the fit range below before choosing.

Fit and sizing

This closer is designed for doors weighing 88–143 pounds, measuring 23.62–39.37 inches wide, and more than 30 mm thick. It can be used with wooden, metal, or glass doors, so the material of the door does not limit it to one common installation type. These measurements are useful when replacing an existing closer or planning an installation: compare them with the actual door, rather than choosing by appearance alone.

For example, a residential entry or a commercial door in a frequently used area may benefit from automatic closing when its size falls within that range. The closer uses a screw-in installation, and the product information recommends measuring the door before purchase. Its compact main body can also suit installations where a smaller closer profile is preferred over a larger unit, provided the door meets the stated fit requirements.

Why it makes sense

The hydraulic spring mechanism combines automatic closing with an adjustable speed control screw. That gives the installer a way to tune the closing speed after installation, rather than relying on a fixed setting. The manufacturer advises adjusting the screw gradually and testing the door’s movement, do not remove the speed-control screw from the body, as that can cause an oil leak and stop the closer from working.

Aluminum construction and a black finish give the closer a straightforward look for a range of door materials and settings. The listed uses include residential, commercial, and high-traffic areas. Buyers have shared mixed experiences: some say the closer works effectively and is simple to install, while others report difficulty with installation or opening the door and find the instructions unclear. The user guide also points to an installation video by QR code, which can help when following the setup process.
