NOAH & PAW SL-ZIP-BR-LE Dog Sling Carrier, Faux Leather, Zipper, 5–18 lb

A hands-free sling suits outings where keeping your small pet close matters more than carrying a structured pet bag. The NOAH & PAW SL-ZIP-BR-LE combines a faux leather exterior, a faux fur insert, and a zip closure in a shoulder-carried design for pets weighing 5–18 lb.

An adjustable padded shoulder strap helps tailor the carry length, while two magnetic pockets keep small essentials such as a phone, treats, keys, or dog waste bags close at hand. How can you make a sling feel more practical on a walk? Keep the items you reach for in those pockets and secure your pet using the carrier’s safety features before heading out.

Practical tips

Adjust the shoulder strap to a comfortable length for the person carrying the sling. Before each outing, connect the safety belt, zip the carrier, and clip the head strap closed, the layered setup is designed to help keep your pet secure while being carried. The recommended pet weight range is 5–18 lb, so use that as a starting point when choosing a sling for your dog or cat.

The two magnetic pockets are useful for everyday essentials, helping keep a phone, treats, keys, or dog waste bags together with the carrier. The materials are described as machine washable, which adds convenience for a carrier used on walks and trips. Follow the care instructions for the item when washing it.

Where it shines

This sling is designed for walks, outings, and travel with a small pet. Carrying your pet close and keeping your hands free can suit short trips when a shoulder-carried format is more convenient than holding a pet in your arms. Its soft-sided construction, faux fur insert, and adjustable strap make those features relevant for regular outings, while the faux leather finish gives the carrier a polished look.

It may also be useful for older dogs with visual impairments, injuries, or post-surgery recovery, as described for this carrier. Buyer feedback often appreciates the soft interior, shoulder comfort, and appearance. Opinions on fit and warmth are more mixed, so consider your pet’s size and the conditions of your outing when deciding whether this style suits your needs.
