Four-sided mesh ventilation helps keep air moving around your pet, while top and side openings give you two ways to guide them into the carrier. The GAPZER soft-sided carrier measures 18 x 11 x 11 inches and combines durable mesh with 600D Oxford fabric for trips by car, visits to the vet, and travel.

A detachable, adjustable shoulder strap keeps your hands free while carrying, and the collapsible design folds down for storage between outings. Choose this soft carrier when easy handling and flexible storage are priorities, a hard-sided crate may suit shoppers who specifically want a rigid-shell format.

Highlights

The mesh panels provide visibility and airflow on the move, and the wide top opening can make loading easier when a pet is reluctant to enter through a side door. Self-locking zipper sliders help keep the carrier closed during transport. Its frame is designed to hold its shape, while the carrier can still be collapsed for storage.

For car rides, unzip the side panels to pass a seat belt through, those panels can also provide access to the luggage-handle sleeve. The included wooden base and cozy fleece pad create a supported resting surface, and the adjustable shoulder strap offers another way to carry the bag. The listed maximum weight recommendation is 20 pounds.

Buyers often describe the carrier as roomy and sturdy, and some say it makes vet visits and getting pets in and out easier. Feedback on zipper movement and under-seat fit is mixed, so check your airline’s current carrier and under-seat requirements before flying.

Usage tips

Set the carrier on a stable surface and let your pet explore it before a trip. Secure the closures after loading, and use the side access points to route a car seat belt when traveling by car. When the outing is over, collapse the carrier for storage. The removable cushion cover is machine washable, which helps with routine cleanup after pet travel.
