The lighting controls let you set the atmosphere as well as the schedule. Use the full-spectrum or color options to shape the tank’s appearance, then adjust brightness to suit your setup. The gradient mode adds color transitions, while the 24/7 program follows a sunrise-to-moonlight sequence. Buyers frequently praise the color selection, brightness controls, and automatic cycle, feedback on stability is mixed, with some reporting that the light sags in the middle.
Compatibility & requirements
This model is intended for 18–24-inch freshwater aquariums and attaches with its extendable brackets. It runs on corded electric power. The light is rated IP68, and its supplied adapter is ETL-certified. Match the tank size to the stated range when choosing a light, and use the brackets to position it over the aquarium.
Practical tips
For a predictable daily schedule, select one of the five timer durations and let auto on/off manage the lighting period. If you prefer a changing light scene, use the 24/7 cycle instead. Set one of the nine brightness levels to suit the tank’s appearance, and explore the color and gradient options when you want a different visual effect. The power-off memory is useful if the light is disconnected or power is interrupted: it restores the last setting when switched on again.
In a planted freshwater tank with fish, the adjustable spectrum and brightness make it possible to customize the display while the timed cycle provides a regular lighting routine. The included brackets support a straightforward bracket-mounted setup, and the separate timer options offer an alternative to running the sunrise-to-moonlight program.
