NEOAQLUX ASKXW Aquarium LED Light, 46–56-Inch, Full Spectrum, 24/7

For a 46–56-inch freshwater aquarium with plants and fish, this NEOAQLUX light brings flexible color and a programmed day-to-night cycle to the tank. Choose a 24/7 sunrise-to-moonlight routine or set a daily timer. Full-spectrum lighting, 12 color options, and adjustable brightness let you tailor the look to your aquarium.

What to know

The ASKXW uses 189 LEDs and delivers 36 watts of light. Its full-spectrum mode is designed for planted aquariums, while the color options and gradient mode let you change the visual effect in the tank. Nine brightness levels, adjustable from 20% to 100%, provide a straightforward way to tune the light’s intensity to your setup.

The 24/7 mode moves through sunrise, daylight, sunset, and moonlight in a continuous cycle. If a repeating full-day cycle is not what you want, choose one of the five auto on/off timer settings: 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 hours. The light also remembers the last brightness setting when powered on again. Extendable mounting brackets support placement across tanks in the stated 46–56-inch size range.

Usage tips

Choose the lighting mode that suits your routine before positioning the bar. The 24/7 setting provides the sunrise-to-moonlight sequence, while the timed settings provide a defined daily lighting period. Adjust brightness in small steps to find the appearance you want for your plants and fish, and use the color or gradient options when you want a different look. The brackets mount the light at the aquarium, and the included user manual provides setup instructions.

Buyer feedback commonly highlights the brightness, color choices, and timer flexibility. Comments about stability are mixed, with some buyers reporting that the light sags in the middle. Position the bar securely on its brackets as part of setup.

Getting the most from it

This light suits aquarium owners who want more control than a single fixed-color setting offers. Use full spectrum for the tank’s regular lighting, then switch among the color options or gradient mode to change its appearance. The brightness controls give you room to adjust the presentation without changing the programmed schedule.

For example, set the 24/7 cycle to create gradual transitions through the day and into moonlight, or select a timer duration when a set lighting window better matches your routine. The package includes the lamp body, two brackets, a power adapter, and a user manual. Its black, rectangular bar has a 44.09 × 3.62 × 0.39-inch body.
