myhalos FIXED-SHOWERHEAD-BLACK Filtered Shower Head, Black, 3 Settings

Tech specs

Some shower shoppers want a straightforward rain-style spray, others are looking for filtration as part of their routine. The myhalos filtered shower head combines those needs in a black, wall-mounted design with three settings and filter media intended to address chlorine and other impurities.

It is made from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and has a polished finish. The product details list a 1.8 GPM flow rate. The brand describes a three-stage filter using calcium sulfite, KDF-55, and activated charcoal, that is a filtration claim, not independent evidence of a specific reduction level.

Usage tips

The listing describes installation on standard shower fixtures without tools and says plumber’s tape is included. Follow the supplied instructions and make sure the connection is secure before use. The advertised filter life is up to 90 days for a family of three, so replacement timing may vary with household size and use. That schedule is a manufacturer-stated estimate, not a guarantee that every household will get the same service life.

This setup may suit someone who wants a fixed shower head with multiple settings and filtration media in one unit, rather than buying a basic shower head and treating water separately. Buyers commonly praise the pressure, ease of installation, and the softer feel they notice in the water. Some also describe positive changes to how their skin or hair feels, those are individual impressions, not assured results.

Worth considering if you want a black rain-style shower head and prefer a filter integrated into the fixture. Not the best choice if you need published test results showing how much of a specific contaminant it removes: none are provided in the product details. Claims about skin, hair, or water softness should likewise be treated as expected benefits, not guaranteed outcomes.

The listed components are plumber’s tape and showerhead filters. The manufacturer also advertises a lifetime guarantee for the shower head, but the provided details do not explain its terms. Check the included instructions for installation and filter replacement guidance.

Should you buy it?

This model brings together a rain-style spray, three settings, and a filter containing calcium sulfite, KDF-55, and activated charcoal. Its 1.8 GPM flow rate and wall-mounted format give buyers concrete details to compare with a simpler, unfiltered shower head. The main reason to choose it is the convenience of having filtration media built into the fixture, the main reason to pause is that the available information does not quantify filtration performance. Choose it if that combination matches your priorities, while weighing the stated filter-life estimate and the absence of contaminant-removal test data before relying on it for a specific water concern.
