DryLabs DryLabs-4000 Round Toilet Seat, 16.5-Inch White PP, Soft-Close

Replacing a round toilet seat in a shared bathroom? The DryLabs-4000 pairs a slow-close lid with a reinforced fastening design intended to help limit shifting. Its white polypropylene surface is designed for everyday cleaning. Check that your bowl is round before choosing this 16.5-inch version.

Who it’s for

This seat is intended for standard round toilets, including bathrooms where a quieter-closing lid is useful at night or around other people. The soft-close mechanism lets the seat and lid lower slowly rather than slam. The manufacturer says the mounting hardware supports either top-mount or bottom-mount installation, so you can select the approach that suits your toilet. A screwdriver is identified as the tool needed in the product details.

The listing describes a reinforced plastic construction rated to support up to 400 lbs. That may matter to shoppers prioritizing a sturdy-feeling replacement, though it does not replace checking the bowl shape and measurements. It makes sense if you want a basic white seat with soft close and a fastening system designed to stay firm during regular use. It might not be a great match if your toilet requires an elongated seat, this listing is specifically for the round 16.5-inch option.

Why it’s worth it

The practical appeal is the combination of a soft-close lid and a design intended to resist loosening, rather than a more basic seat focused only on replacing the existing one. For a routine bathroom update, the smooth, easy-to-clean surface and included hardware keep the setup straightforward. The manufacturer describes installation as a short screwdriver job, while buyer feedback also includes reports of easy installation, individual setup time can vary.

Buyer impressions are not entirely uniform. Some describe the seat as sturdy and appreciate the soft-close action, while feedback on comfort is mixed. Reports about the lid mechanism also differ: some say it closes smoothly, while others say it does not stay closed or stops working. That makes the closing mechanism a feature to weigh, not a guaranteed outcome for every buyer.

Before you decide

How do I know whether this is the right size? It is the 16.5-inch round version. Measure your bowl and confirm it is round, the product information distinguishes it from an 18.5-inch elongated option.

What comes in the box? The listed components are the toilet seat and hardware. The manufacturer describes installation with a screwdriver and offers top- or bottom-mount methods.

Does the lid close quietly? The seat is designed with a slow-close mechanism. Buyer feedback is mixed, so reports of smooth closing should not be treated as a guarantee that every mechanism will behave the same way.

When it makes sense

Choose this DryLabs seat when your toilet takes a round 16.5-inch seat and you want soft close, white polypropylene, and mounting hardware in the package. A basic replacement without a slow-close mechanism may suit shoppers who do not need that feature. An elongated bowl calls for the separately listed elongated size, not this round version, confirming the bowl measurements before ordering is the useful final check.
