HOMEBUDS HB905 Digital Bathroom Scale, 400 lb, 0.1 lb, Blue Glass

The backlit LED display makes the HOMEBUDS HB905 easier to read during a quick weigh-in. Its blue tempered-glass platform gives it a more distinctive look than a basic neutral scale. It’s designed for straightforward weight tracking, not a feature-heavy health monitoring setup. Step-on operation and included batteries help keep setup simple.

Tech specs

• Model: HB905
• Type: Digital bathroom floor scale
• Maximum capacity: 400 lb
• Readout increments: 0.1 lb
• Display: Backlit LED
• Material: Tempered glass
• Color: Blue
• Units: lb, kg, and st
• Power: 3 AAA batteries, included
• What’s included: Scale, user manual, and 3 AAA batteries

The scale also has auto-on, auto-off, auto-zero, low-battery, and overload indicators. A green icon signals when the measurement is complete, so you can wait for the reading to stabilize before stepping off. The stated 0.1 lb increment describes how the display reports weight, it does not guarantee identical readings across different surfaces or weigh-ins.

Requirements

For a more consistent reading, place the scale on a secure, flat surface rather than carpet or uneven flooring. The instructions call for calibration before use, after changing the batteries, and after moving the scale: wait for the display to show 0.0 before weighing. The step-on feature means there’s no separate manual switch to operate for a routine measurement.

Who it’s for

This model fits a household that wants a simple way to check body weight at home, with selectable units and a display that’s intended to be easy to see. It may also suit someone who prefers a colored platform over a plain-looking bathroom scale. It suits you if a basic weigh-in is the main need and you’re comfortable following the placement and calibration instructions. You may want to skip it if your priority is a scale with documented app features or additional body-composition measurements, those are not listed for this model.

Buyer feedback is positive about the display’s legibility and the scale’s appearance, and some appreciate that it uses standard AAA batteries. Reports on accuracy are mixed: some buyers find readings consistent, while others describe discrepancies. Durability comments are mixed as well, with some describing a sturdy scale and others reporting breakage. These are individual experiences, so stable placement and sensible handling matter when choosing a glass-platform model.

Before you decide

Can it display kilograms? Yes. The listed unit options are pounds, kilograms, and stone, selected with a switch on the back.

What is the maximum capacity? The stated maximum is 400 lb. The scale also has an overload indicator.

Do batteries come in the box? Yes. The package details list three AAA batteries along with the scale and user manual.

When it makes sense

Choose the HB905 if you want a digital scale for routine home weigh-ins, value a backlit readout, and like the blue tempered-glass design. Its simple step-on format makes more sense for checking weight than for tracking a wider set of health metrics. If you need readings you can rely on for a particular monitoring plan, the mixed buyer reports on consistency are worth weighing against your needs, this model’s listing does not establish clinical accuracy.
