Hoissuem Model 1 Foldable Toilet Stool, 6.8-Inch Plastic Step

At 6.8 inches high, the Hoissuem toilet stool is designed to raise your feet while seated on the toilet. Its white plastic construction and foldable format make it a compact bathroom accessory rather than a full-size step platform.

The stool has one step and a listed footprint of 14.7 inches deep by 7 inches wide. That narrow profile may suit bathrooms where a larger footrest would be awkward to position.

Would a smaller stool work better in your bathroom than a wider, fixed design? The answer depends on the toilet’s layout and how much surface area you want underfoot.

The listing describes a curved design and rubber pads, and says the stool can be stored under the toilet. These details point to a footrest intended for bathroom use, with a format that can be moved aside when it is not needed. The listed dimensions and the separate 6.8-inch product description do not match exactly, so use the stated measurements as a guide when considering the space available.

Everyday compatibility

This stool is intended to support a squatting posture while using the toilet, and the product listing says its height and curved shape fit most standard toilets. That is a general fit claim, not a guarantee for every bathroom layout, the 7-inch width is particularly relevant if the base of your toilet leaves little room for a footrest.

You’ll appreciate it if you want a single-step, foldable option for a compact bathroom or occasional use. Compared with a wider, fixed foot platform, this design takes a narrower approach and may be easier to tuck away. A broader platform may suit someone who specifically wants more room for both feet, but this listing does not provide a larger size option to compare.

Buyer feedback is positive about convenience, height, and ease of assembly, while opinions on stability and fit are mixed. Some customers say it stays put, others describe tipping or movement, and reports also differ on whether the size works well around their toilet. That makes the actual placement and feel underfoot worth considering rather than assuming the non-slip description will suit every floor and setup.

Practical tips

Before choosing it, compare the listed footprint with the space in front of your toilet and consider whether a 7-inch-wide step provides enough room for your feet. If you plan to store it underneath the toilet, check that the available clearance suits the stool’s listed height. Its foldable feature may help with storage, but the product details do not specify a folded size.

Use it as a bathroom step stool only in line with its stated 150 kg maximum weight capacity. The listing also mentions other step-stool tasks, but the main design and stated use are focused on the toilet. Better avoided if you need a larger standing surface or want buyer feedback to point consistently to a stable fit, reviews do not agree on either point.

Final verdict

The Hoissuem is a compact, foldable plastic toilet stool with a documented 6.8-inch height and a narrow footprint. It may make sense for someone looking for a simple footrest that can be moved or stored after use, especially where bathroom space is limited. Its strongest consideration is also its main trade-off: the small format can be convenient, but mixed reports about stability and fit mean it is not an assured match for every toilet or user. Choose it when its dimensions suit your setup, consider a wider design if a larger, more consistent foot platform is the priority.
