Mulberry Park Silks 652671103001 Silk Fitted Crib Sheet, 19 Momme, White

Made from 100% Grade 6A Mulberry silk in a 19 Momme fabric, this white fitted crib sheet is sized for a 28" x 52" mattress and has an 8-inch pocket. Its smooth charmeuse surface offers a silk alternative to more familiar cotton or polyester crib bedding, with the product information positioning it as a way to reduce friction against a baby’s hair and skin.

The package includes one fitted sheet. Its simple white color and solid pattern make it easy to pair with different nursery styles.

Usage tips

Use the sheet on a crib mattress that matches its stated 28" x 52" size. The fully elasticized 8-inch pocket is intended to hold the sheet in place around the mattress, the listed pocket depth is a useful fit detail to compare with your mattress before choosing it. The sheet is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, according to the product information.

Care instructions call for some attention: one section lists hand washing only, while the accompanying care guidance also describes machine washing in cold water on a delicate cycle, using a fine-mesh laundry bag and enzyme-free detergent. Because those directions differ, follow the care instructions supplied with the sheet rather than assuming it can be washed like everyday cotton bedding.

Where it shines

The main distinction is the fabric. Mulberry silk has a smoother surface than the cotton or polyester options mentioned in the product details, which may appeal to caregivers looking to limit rubbing against delicate hair. The brand also describes the sheet as breathable and moisture-wicking, with natural temperature regulation, these are comfort features, not a promise to prevent bald spots or treat eczema or cradle cap.

For a practical nursery setup, the fitted format suits a crib mattress within the stated dimensions, while the white solid design keeps the bedding visually understated. You’ll appreciate it if silk is a priority and you want a fitted sheet rather than a pillowcase or a multi-piece bedding set. If a familiar, simpler-care fabric matters more, a conventional sheet may be a more straightforward fit.

Key points

• Material: 100% Grade 6A Mulberry silk
• Fabric weight: 19 Momme
• Size: 28" x 52" with an 8-inch pocket
• Color and pattern: Natural white, solid
• Included: One pure silk fitted sheet
• Certification: OEKO-TEX Standard 100

The listing’s references to reducing hair breakage and being gentle on eczema or cradle cap should be understood as product claims, not medical outcomes. Not the best choice if you need care instructions that are completely consistent across the product information, or if you are looking specifically for a cotton or polyester sheet.

Is it worth it?

This sheet makes the most sense for buyers who specifically want silk crib bedding and value the stated fabric, fitted dimensions, and smooth surface. Compared with choosing a standard cotton or polyester sheet, the decision here is whether silk is worth the extra care attention it may require. The available information does not establish that it prevents hair loss or improves skin conditions, so those claims should not be the sole reason to choose it. If the mattress dimensions match and silk is the feature you want, its purpose is clear, if easy, uncomplicated laundering is your priority, consider a different fabric.
