PlushDeluxe 4728 Crib Mattress Protector, Waterproof Bamboo Viscose, Quilted Cotton

A quilted terry cotton surface adds a soft layer over a crib mattress, while the fitted-sheet-style design helps keep the protector in place. The PlushDeluxe 4728 is made with bamboo viscose and is described as waterproof and noiseless, so it’s designed to protect the mattress from spills without the crinkling sounds associated with some covers.

Its listed size is 28”x49”, with a skirt that fits mattresses up to 7.5” deep. That makes the dimensions and mattress depth the key details to match before choosing it.

Key takeaways

This protector combines a quilted terry cotton top with a waterproof membrane and a fitted-sheet-style skirt. It is intended for crib and toddler mattresses measuring 28”x49”. The materials are described as breathable and noiseless, and the protector is machine washable. One unit is included.

The combination is useful when you want a layer that stays fitted around the mattress rather than a loose pad that may need repositioning. It also provides a soft surface beneath a separate crib sheet. The listing says the cover is waterproof, but buyer feedback on water resistance is mixed, so it’s sensible to treat that claim with some caution rather than assume every spill will be contained.

Size & fit

The stated fit is for 28”x49” crib and toddler mattresses, with a deep skirt that accommodates mattresses up to 7.5” deep. Confirm both measurements against your mattress, especially its depth, before buying. A protector that matches those dimensions is more likely to sit securely than one selected by age range or bed label alone.

The fitted-sheet construction is intended to make removal and replacement straightforward after washing. If you are comparing it with a basic loose liner, this style is designed to cover the mattress more closely and stay in position. Is that more useful than a loose pad for your routine? It may be if you prefer a fitted layer that does not need frequent adjustment.

Practical tips

Use it as a protective layer over the mattress and under the crib sheet. The quilted cotton terry top gives the sleeping surface a soft feel, while the product description says the membrane allows air circulation and blocks liquids. The protector can be machine washed, follow the care instructions on the item for any details beyond that.

Buyers commonly praise the softness, fit, and lack of rustling, and some say the cover does not noticeably change the feel of the bed. Feedback on temperature is divided: some find it comfortable, while others say it feels hot. Water-resistance opinions are also mixed, despite the product being advertised as waterproof. Those differences matter if temperature comfort or dependable spill protection is your main priority.

What to clarify

What mattress size is it designed for? It is listed for 28”x49” crib and toddler mattresses, with a skirt for depths up to 7.5”.

What materials are used? The protector has a bamboo-viscose fabric description and a quilted terry cotton top, with a waterproof membrane described in the product details.

How is it cleaned? It is listed as machine washable. Check the care label for the specific washing and drying instructions.

Final verdict

Worth considering if you need a fitted, machine-washable protector for a mattress that matches the stated dimensions, and value a quilted surface and a quiet feel. It’s not for you if you need buyer feedback to confirm consistent waterproof performance: reports on water resistance vary. The fit dimensions, mixed feedback on temperature, and your priorities for spill protection are the most useful points to weigh before choosing it.
