KoolerThings 685364199036 3-in-1 Baby Bassinet with Adjustable Height

Getting the most from it

For nighttime care, the KoolerThings bassinet can sit beside the bed with its side lowered, keeping the sleeping space close while you tend to your baby. Its five height settings are intended to help align it with different bed heights.

It can also be used as a standalone bassinet in another room, then folded for transport. Need one sleep space that can move between bedside and daytime use? Those modes are the main reason to consider this model over a fixed bedside-only crib.

The listing describes it as a 3-in-1 bassinet, bedside sleeper, and playpen. The feature details explain the standalone and bedside setups, plus folding for portability, they do not spell out a separate playpen setup, so consider that distinction when comparing configurations.

Pros

The useful difference here is flexibility: rather than buying a bedside-only sleep space, this model is described for standalone use too and folds for travel or room-to-room moves. Built-in wheels have brakes, while the zip-down side provides access when the bassinet is positioned beside a bed. Buyers often praise its portability, ease of assembly, and height adjustment, and some say it works well next to their bed.

Feedback is not uniformly positive on the moving parts. Buyers report mixed experiences with the wheels, with some finding them convenient and others saying they can be difficult to move. Side access also draws mixed comments, including reports that the zipper can be difficult to open. Those points matter if you expect to reposition it often or rely on frequent side access overnight.

Practical questions

How does it convert to bedside mode? The side lowers by pulling down the zipper. The product description says it can sit next to the bed, with height adjustment available to help match the setup.

Can it be moved between rooms? It has built-in wheels with brakes and is designed to fold for portability. Buyer feedback on wheel movement varies, so its ease of repositioning may depend on your experience with the unit.

What is the stated weight limit? The maximum weight recommendation is 24 pounds. The supplied information does not specify an age range, so use the stated weight limit rather than assuming an age-based cutoff.

Is it worth it?

Worth considering if you want a bassinet that can serve beside the bed or stand alone, with folding portability for changing rooms or travel. The mattress is listed as included, and the five height settings offer a practical adjustment feature for bedside placement. Buyers also mention straightforward assembly, though that is their reported experience rather than a guaranteed setup time.

It may not suit you if your priority is a higher stated weight limit, or if dependable, frequent wheel movement is essential: the listed maximum is 24 pounds, and buyer comments about the wheels and zip-down side are mixed. For a simpler fixed bedside sleeper, a model without a folding, wheeled setup may be a better fit, this one makes more sense when the extra standalone and portable use are relevant.
