ATTABABY Crib Mattress 52 x 28 Inches

Technical details

A crib mattress that needs to serve both an infant and a growing toddler has to do more than provide one surface. ATTABABY’s dual-sided design changes the feel as your child grows: the open-cell layer is intended for infants, while the memory foam side is for toddlers. That makes it a practical alternative to buying a single-stage mattress and replacing it later, though the two surfaces are meant for different stages rather than interchangeable comfort preferences.

The mattress measures 52 x 28 inches and is listed for standard-size cribs and toddler beds. Its foam core is certified by the CertiPUR-US program for content, emissions, and durability. The description also reports independent third-party testing against applicable crib mattress safety requirements. The cover is made from material approved under OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and is described as waterproof, machine washable, and safe to tumble dry. A 7-year limited manufacturer’s warranty is included.

What it works with

This mattress is specified for a standard-size crib or toddler bed measuring 52 x 28 inches. The fit detail is useful when moving from a crib to a toddler bed, but it does not establish compatibility with other bed sizes. Measure the sleep space and compare it with the stated dimensions before buying, the product information does not provide additional fit details for nonstandard frames.

The two-stage setup gives the mattress a longer intended use than an infant-only surface. For example, once a child has moved into the toddler stage, you can flip the mattress to expose the memory foam side instead of shopping for a separate toddler mattress. A solid pick if you want one mattress designed to cover both stages and value a removable, washable cover. Not the best choice if you need a mattress in a different size or want detailed firmness measurements before choosing.

Usage tips

After unboxing, allow the core to expand fully for up to 72 hours before setting it up. The listed setup puts the open-cell layer in place and then adds the waterproof cover. When the mattress is ready for the toddler stage, flip it to use the memory foam side. The product description does not specify a particular age or milestone for making that change, so follow the guidance you use for your child’s transition rather than treating the two sides as an automatic schedule.

For everyday messes, the cover is designed to come off for machine washing and can be tumble dried. That is a useful detail for spills, but the care information provided applies to the cover, it does not say that the foam core is machine washable. Keep that distinction in mind when planning how to clean the mattress.

Questions before you buy

Can the cover go in the washing machine? Yes. The waterproof cover is described as machine washable and safe to tumble dry. No washing instructions for the foam core are provided.

How long should it expand after unboxing? Allow up to 72 hours for the core to expand fully before setup.

Final verdict

ATTABABY’s main buying case is convenience over time: a specified standard crib fit, a washable waterproof cover, and a reversible design intended to serve infant and toddler stages. The open-cell surface is presented as breathable to encourage air circulation, while the toddler side adds memory foam comfort. Those are useful distinctions if you want one mattress with separate stage-specific surfaces. The trade-off is that the listing gives no firmness measurements or age guidance for switching sides, and the core needs time to expand after delivery. Choose it if its dimensions match your bed and the two-stage format fits your plans, look elsewhere if you need a different size or more detailed specifications before deciding.
