Mahjongolé American Mahjong Tile Set, 160 Light Purple 4-Layer Tiles

Four-layer acrylic gives these American Mahjong tiles a distinctive light purple look with colored layers visible from the side. Engraved markings add texture and are designed to be easy to read during play.

The 160-tile set is made for American Mahjong and includes accessories for a four-player game. Its instruction manual makes it a practical starting point for beginners learning the game.

A zippered floral bag stores the tiles and fits easily into a suitcase, so the set can travel to a game night or an outdoor gathering.

The essentials

The set includes 160 tiles: 36 Dots, 36 Bams, 36 Cracks, 12 Dragons, 16 Winds, 8 Flowers, 10 Jokers, and 6 blank spare tiles. Each tile measures 1.26 × 0.94 × 0.6 inches. The four-layer acrylic construction combines light purple with pink, orange, and white layers, while engraved designs give the markings a tactile finish.

For play, the set includes 100 colored chips, 3 dice, a wind indicator, an American Mahjong instruction manual, and four cards. Together with the tiles, these pieces support a four-player game without needing to gather the basic accessories separately. Buyers have highlighted the clear engraving, vibrant colors, distinctive flower and boot details, and the tiles’ comfortable feel and readability.

Compared with buying tiles on their own and collecting accessories separately, this set brings the main game pieces and supporting items together. That makes it well suited to setting up a regular American Mahjong game at home or bringing the set to a shared gathering.

Everyday use

The zippered bag keeps the tiles together after play and has a slim profile for packing in a suitcase. It offers a convenient way to carry the set between home, a friend’s place, and other game locations. The light purple tiles and contrasting colored layers also give the set a distinctive appearance when laid out for play.

Usage tips

Use the included instruction manual as a guide when learning the game, and keep the dice, wind indicator, chips, and cards with the tiles in the bag between sessions. The tile count includes six blank spare tiles, alongside the standard groups listed above. With four players ready, the set is arranged for American Mahjong gameplay.

When it makes sense

This set makes sense if you want an American Mahjong setup with engraved, layered acrylic tiles and the main accessories gathered in one purchase. Beginners can use the included manual to get started, while the zippered bag makes it easier to take the tiles to a group game. Its combination of a full 160-tile set, playing accessories, and a travel-friendly storage bag suits players who want to move between home play and social gatherings.
