Feedback on durability is mixed: some buyers report broken racks, while comments on tile size reflect differing expectations. The listed tile dimensions are 1-3/16" tall, 7/8" wide, and 1/2" thick, giving shoppers a concrete reference when choosing a set.

Getting the most from it

Before a game, arrange the four racks around the table and use the trays to keep tiles organized as the set is unpacked. The included manual, dice, money chips, and wind piece make the kit practical for setting up a session without gathering those listed components separately. After play, return the tiles to the lidded trays and place them in the carrying bag for storage or the next gathering. This setup suits players who want the pieces for a shared table game and a straightforward way to pack them away afterward.

The Suncle S-168 is a ready-to-carry American Mahjong kit for groups of two to four, with a 166-tile assortment, four racks with pushers, and lidded trays.
