Dolavast HY-6163-5/36 36-Inch Ceiling Fan with Light, Remote and Reversible Blades

For bedrooms, kitchens, or home offices up to 72 sq ft, the Dolavast 36-inch fan combines overhead lighting with adjustable air circulation. Its flush-mount design keeps the fan close to the ceiling. Want to adjust both light and airflow without leaving your seat? Use the remote or app to change settings from across the room.## Key takeaways

The fan has six speeds and a reversible DC motor, with airflow rated at 3,627 CFM. Use forward mode for summer cooling or reverse mode to circulate warm air in winter. The motor is rated at 20 dB, a useful detail for rooms where quiet operation matters, such as a bedroom or home office.

Its integrated 20W LED offers three color temperatures: 3000K, 4500K, and 6500K. Stepless dimming from 5% to 100% lets you tailor the light for different activities, from a softer evening setting to brighter room illumination. After the light has been on for 15 seconds, its memory function restores the last brightness and color setting the next time it is used.

The five double-sided plywood blades have a black finish on one side and walnut on the other, so the visible look can be matched to the room. Buyers often praise the quiet operation, airflow, lighting choices, and convenience of the controls. Feedback about reliability is mixed, so experiences differ.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the remote or app to select a fan speed, adjust brightness and color temperature, or set an auto-off timer. The available timer settings are 2, 4, and 8 hours, making it practical to set the fan to switch off after bedtime or a period of use. Natural Wind mode varies airflow across levels 1–6 for a changing breeze rather than one steady setting.

For seasonal use, switch the reversible motor between forward and reverse modes: forward is intended for summer cooling, while reverse circulates warm air in winter. The flush-mount format and 36-inch size suit the compact rooms listed for this model, including bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, and home offices. Its recommended room size is up to 72 sq ft.

Practical tips

Choose the blade finish before installation by deciding whether black or walnut better suits the room. Since the unit is ceiling-mounted and hardwired, plan its location around the existing ceiling connection and use the supplied instructions for installation. The package components listed for this model include a light kit, mounting hardware, remote, cord, and instruction manual.

Set the light temperature to suit the task: 3000K for a warmer tone, 4500K for a neutral option, or 6500K for a cooler tone. Adjust brightness independently to make the integrated light work for everyday room use, then use the memory function to retain your preferred setting. The app and remote offer another practical choice: use whichever is more convenient when adjusting settings from the sofa, bed, or elsewhere in the room.

When it makes sense

This model makes sense when you want a ceiling fan and an adjustable LED light in one flush-mounted fixture, rather than choosing separate overhead fixtures. Its reversible motor supports year-round air circulation, while six speeds, dimmable three-color lighting, and app or remote control provide useful ways to tailor the room’s comfort and lighting. The black-and-walnut reversible blades add a finish choice for bedrooms, kitchens, and other indoor spaces up to 72 sq ft.
