Lahome 9' x 12' Moroccan Area Rug, Washable Low-Pile Faux Wool
Product description
A washable low-pile surface makes this Moroccan area rug practical for busy rooms and easy to place beneath furniture. Its faded medallion pattern brings a vintage-inspired look to living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, and family spaces. The soft faux-wool feel adds comfort underfoot, while the rubber backing helps the rug stay in place on clean, dry, flat floors.
Getting the most from it
Use the 9' x 12' rectangular rug to define a larger seating area, anchor furniture, or add a patterned layer to a bedroom or dining room. Its 0.16-inch low pile sits neatly under furniture and is designed to let robot vacuums glide across it. That slim profile is useful when you want a broad rug without choosing a thick, high-pile style.
For routine care, vacuum, shake, or spot clean as needed. The rug can also be machine washed in cold water, for a large rug, place it in a laundry bag, then air dry it without heat. The stain-resistant, water-repellent surface helps manage everyday spills, dust, crumbs, and pet hair. If the rug arrives with temporary creases from folding, roll it in the opposite direction and allow time for it to flatten.

What you’ll notice day to day
The faded Moroccan medallion and trellis pattern adds visual detail without relying on a bold, high-contrast look. Its soft surface is comfortable for everyday walking or sitting on the floor, and the low pile keeps the rug close to the floor in spaces where furniture and vacuuming matter. The rubber backing provides everyday grip, on especially smooth hardwood or tile, or in a space with very active pets, a rug pad can add stability.
Buyers often praise the softness, appearance, and muted colors, and some say the rubberized backing helps the rug stay in place. Feedback on thickness is mixed, so the low-profile construction is a useful point of reference when choosing between a slim, easy-to-place rug and a thicker, plusher style.
When it makes sense
It makes sense if you want one large rug to bring warmth and a vintage Moroccan pattern to a frequently used indoor space, while keeping care straightforward. For example, place it beneath a living room seating arrangement to visually bring the furniture together, with the low pile making it easier to position under tables and seating. Its washable construction and comfortable faux-wool surface suit homes looking for a decorative rug that can handle regular household use.
