California Design Den 840307188519 King Sheet Set, 600-Thread-Count Cotton Sateen

Some shoppers focus on a coordinated color, while others want a particular feel and a fitted sheet that suits their mattress. This California Design Den king set pairs brick red color with 100% long-staple cotton in a 600-thread-count sateen weave, creating a smooth hand feel and subtle sheen for an inviting, polished bed.

The four-piece set brings together everyday care and fit details, including an all-around elastic fitted sheet and top-and-bottom indicator tags.

Key points

The sateen weave gives the cotton a smooth, softly lustrous finish, while the long-staple cotton construction offers a substantial yet breathable feel. The fabric is designed for year-round use, so the set suits a bedroom routine that continues through changing seasons. Its solid brick red color adds a clear, warm accent without a printed pattern competing with other bedding.

A 16-inch-deep fitted sheet pocket is designed for mattresses from 8 to 16 inches deep. All-around elastic helps hold the sheet in place, and the head-and-foot tags make orientation easier when making the bed. The set has earned the Good Housekeeping Seal and is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. The sheets are also tested for shrinkage, pilling, and fading.

Quick sizing guide

This set is sized for a king bed. The fitted sheet measures 78 by 80 inches, and the flat sheet measures 112 by 102 inches. The two king pillowcases each measure 21 by 40 inches. Match the mattress depth to the fitted sheet’s 8-to-16-inch fit range for a secure setup, the all-around elastic supports a close fit around the mattress.

Practical tips

For a smooth bed-making routine, use the top-and-bottom tags to orient the fitted sheet before stretching its elasticated edges over the mattress. The pillowcases have a classic open-end design, and the flat sheet adds a separate layer between the sleeper and bedding. The four pieces give you the core matching linens for a king bed in one set.

Care is straightforward: machine wash warm and tumble dry low. Removing the sheets promptly from the dryer can help reduce wrinkles. Compared with choosing sheets by color and size alone, this set also makes the weave, cotton type, mattress-depth fit, and care instructions clear factors in the decision.
