Kyerlish American Mahjong Set with 166 Engraved Tiles, Racks and Travel Bag

Some players want a ready-to-play set for regular game nights, others need one they can pack and bring along. This Kyerlish American Mahjong set brings the tiles and key playing accessories together in one collection.

The set includes 166 white melamine tiles with engraved, hand-painted designs, plus four color-coded rack/pushers. The racks help organize tiles during play and store them neatly afterward.

A quilted printed carrying bag, a separate small tile bag, and an inner zippered pocket make it easier to keep the set together between sessions or take it to a gathering.

Key points

The tile assortment covers the pieces used in American Mahjong: 36 circles, 36 bamboos, 36 characters, 12 dragons, 16 winds, 16 flowers, 10 jokers, and four blank spares. English letters and Arabic numerals are engraved on the tiles for clear identification during play. Each tile measures 1.2" x 0.9" x 0.5".

The accessories round out the game setup: four all-in-one rack/pushers in different colors, three dice, 100 chips, a wind indicator, and instructions. Choosing a complete set like this keeps the main playing pieces and organizing accessories together, rather than building a collection from separate components.

Everyday use

For a game at home, the racks give each player a place to arrange tiles and push them into position. When the session is over, they can be used to store the tiles neatly. Protective pads are also included for the racks.

For a visit with friends or family, the carrying bag offers two shoulder straps, while its inner zippered pocket provides a place for smaller items. The separate small bag is designed for storing mahjong tiles, helping keep the set organized when it travels. The printed quilted case brings a distinctive look to the practical task of carrying the game.

How to use it

Set out the tiles, racks, dice, chips, and wind indicator for the game, and use the included instructions as a reference. Each player can arrange their tiles on a rack, then use the rack/pusher combination to move them during play. The engraved letters and numbers help distinguish tile faces as players sort and select pieces.

After the game, return the tiles and accessories to the bags and use the racks for organized storage. The set is suited to shared play at home, a family gathering, or a game night away from home, its carrying bag and shoulder straps make bringing the collection along straightforward.
